Cardinals vs Brewers Prediction, Picks and MLB Prop Bets, Friday, 6/13: Ride Milwaukee (-147)

Following a dominant 6-0 win at home on Thursday night, the Milwaukee Brewers are ready to make it two wins in a row as favorites in MLB lines today for their game against the St. Louis Cardinals.

With a strong showing from rookie pitcher Jacob Misiorowski, Milwaukee made quick work of a Cardinals team, deemed by some (including myself) as MLB futures betting dark horses this season. It was the fifth straight defeat for St. Louis.

As we wait for the 8:10 p.m. ET start to the game, let’s run through what both teams are bringing to the table tonight and the best MLB player prop bets to target.

Cardinals vs Brewers Prediction Today, June 13, 2025

My Prediction:

  • Milwaukee Brewers Moneyline (-148)

The Brewers pulled out all the stops for Jacob Misiorowski’s MLB debut, shutting out the Cards 6-0. So, don’t mind me while I ride on the team’s momentum here and bet on them to win straight up today at -148 odds.

It’s not every day the Brewers offer a level of trust that makes betting on their MLB games worth a shot.

But between what was shown on Thursday night, plus St. Louis sending Erick Fedde to the mound, a starter who already was tagged for seven runs and 10 hits against Milwaukee earlier in the season, I say take the home team straight up.

Bet Milwaukee Brewers Moneyline (-148)

  • Cardinals vs Brewers Under 7.5 (-105)

I was right when I said taking the total going under was the way to go on Thursday, and if MLB betting trends don’t fail me, I say going under again today is the way to go.

Over the past 10 Milwaukee games, the total has gone under seven times. Even if St. Louis’ offense shows up tonight ready to spark up and give the home team a scare, it doesn’t shy away from the fact that these teams are not exactly offensive powerhouses right now.

In short, don’t overthink this MLB pick or expect a high-scoring affair. Take the under at -105.

Bet Cardinals vs Brewers Under 7.5 (-105)

Cardinals vs Brewers Prop Picks and Best Bets

  • Freddy Peralta Over 5.5 Strikeouts (-143)

Over his last five games, Brewers starter Freddy Peralta has tossed at least five strikeouts in three of them. Before his last start against the San Diego Padres, Peralta was coming off tossing nine and six Ks against the Cincinnati Reds and Boston Red Sox, respectively.

If you’ve ever watched Peralta pitch, you know his greatest strength is making batters chase and thus striking them out.

Even if the Cards don’t strike out that much, if Misiorowski was able to collect five Ks in his debut, I’ll buy into Peralta going over 5.5 tonight.

Bet Freddy Peralta Over 5.5 Strikeouts (-143)

  • Christian Yelich Over 0.5 Hits (-228)

Still considered Milwaukee’s biggest star, left fielder Christian Yelich’s -228 odds to get at least one hit today feel ripe for the taking.

Looking at his numbers, Yelich is coming into this game having at least one hit in his last two games, including two on Thursday.

If all it takes to win this MLB bet is for Yelich to snag up at least a single, those -228 odds are sitting there waiting for you to take them.

Bet Christian Yelich Over 0.5 Hits (-228)

  • Jackson Chourio 1+HR (+500)

Jackson Chourio is not a player you hear of a lot in MLB latest news, but that hasn’t stopped the Venezuelan center fielder from putting up some respectable numbers for the Brewers this season.

With 12 home runs, 41 RBIs and having smacked a HR in two of his last three games, those +500 odds for him to go deep again tonight are very tempting to chase.

It’s a long shot. I’ll give you that. But again, with two dingers in three days and sweet +500 odds, the return could be huge.

Bet Jackson Chourio 1+HR (+500)
