Sitting 1.5 games behind the Detroit Tigers in the AL Central, a win tonight could go a long way, which works great for a Guardians team facing Morton, who’s 0-3 record and 8.78 ERA.
I still believe this Orioles team has what it takes to light up the scene in the AL East, but with Morton pitching, there’s no rational way I’m backing them to win. So take Cleveland’s moneyline, bet the upset, and make some money thanks to Morton.

MLB betting trends have Orioles home games going over in four out of the last five, and in two of Morton’s three starts this season. Sticking to my gut here and banking on Morton once again dropping the ball, the over set at 9 runs (Ev) doesn’t seem too difficult to target.

For the first of my Guardians vs Orioles MLB prop picks today, I’m gunning (pun intended) on shortstop Gunnar Henderson, one of Baltimore’s best prospects, to beat his over in hits for tonight.
Why?
In his last 10 games against Cleveland, Henderson holds a .425 average with 17 hits and three home runs, per Guardians vs Orioles stats. Based on his performance on Sunday against the Blue Jays, where he had three hits, including a triple, taking him to snag at least one hit tonight feels like a sure bet.

Before you start thinking I have a thing against Morton, believe me, I don’t. But at 41 years old, and with a 0-3 record and 8.78 ERA to start the season, there’s really not much backing him to pull through tonight.
In Morton’s last outing he allowed four runs in five innings, which shows that if teams start out hot on the plate, stacking up runs on him doesn’t take that much effort. Mark my words, if Cleveland gets at least one or two runs in the first couple of innings, going over five runs in the first five will be a walk in the park for MLB predictions.
