So far, the Guardians and Orioles have shown they can smash the ball and pile on the runs. However, after a 9-1 beatdown by the O’s last time out, the MLB betting lines have them as favorites – and I’m right there with them. Look, today’s arms should keep things tight, but Baltimore’s bats should give them the edge again. Don’t expect another blowout, but take the Orioles to handle business.

Both previous matchups hit 9+ runs, but for this MLB futures bet, I’m going against the grain and taking the under. Wipe that shocked look off your face – hear me out. Both teams have been swinging above their weight lately. And when you check the numbers? They’re both outside the top 20 in hits. Last game’s blowout? Total outlier. I’m banking on the arms and gloves to tighten things up. Take the under.

And with Baltimore sending 35-year-old RHP Tomoyuki Sugano to the mound, who’s logged only five strikeouts all season – Santana’s set up perfectly to stay hot. Of all the MLB props today, this one’s as close to a direct deposit as it gets.

For more expert MLB picks, I’m taking the over 17.5  total hits. Here’s the deal: hits have stacked up in recent games, and while I’m not seeing another high-scoring game, I do think the bats will stay active. Neither pitcher tonight has been a strikeout machine – they’ve allowed 31 hits over four combined starts. Add in the strong offense we’ve already seen this series and you can bank on the hits to come.
