Moneyline Pick: Tigers -115

The team with the best record in baseball has been quite consistent this season, so the Tigers will be looking to get back on track after getting shut out in the series opener vs the Guardians. Detroit is due for a breakout game, and playing at home on a Friday night is a perfect time for it. Throw in having righty Jackson Jobe (4-0, 4.12 ERA) on the mound certainly helps. Take Detroit on the MLB moneyline to even this series up with a win.

Guardians vs Tigers Over 8.5 Runs (-120)

Even with a 4-0 record, Jobe isn’t exactly shutting teams down. Cleveland will counter with right-hander Slade Cecconi, who is making just his second start of the season. His first resulted in three runs over five innings vs the Reds, so he could have his trouble with the potent Tigers lineup.
