My prediction

Run Line Pick: Guardians +1.5 (-170)

Game 3 of the Guardians vs Tigers series is on our doorstep, and it’s been all Cleveland thus far, as it has taken the first two games. The Tigers have had a solid season, but against the Guardians? They’ve looked like a high school team. That’s why I’m backing Cleveland on the MLB odds today to make it three straight. Look, I expect Detroit to show some life at the plate, but it won’t be enough to counter Cleveland’s momentum. Take the runs.

Guardians vs Tigers Under 8.5 Runs (-125)

Cleveland has been better at the plate in this series, no doubt. And while Detroit’s struggled in this series, it is still fourth in runs and can break out if given the chance. Still, I like the under for my MLB parlay bets today. Hear me out: both teams should get on the board, but with Cleveland’s Luis Ortiz and Detroit’s Casey Mize on the mound, I’m trusting the arms to keep this in check. Be smart – ride the under.

Even though I am calling for the Tigers’ bats to wake up a bit, I’m still including Guardians righty Ortiz to rack up over 4.5 strikeouts for my MLB prop bets today. Ortiz might be 2-5 on the season, but he’s been collecting strikeouts like it’s a video game, recording 16 over his last two outings. That said, with momentum on his side and Detroit’s bats struggling, Ortiz should keep the strikeouts coming.

Guardians vs Tigers Under 16.5 Total Hits (-130)

The first two games between these teams show that hitting hasn’t been great in terms of hit count. While you might think this game would suddenly turn into a hit fest, my MLB predictions say otherwise. Listen, both games struggled to crack 14 total hits, let alone 17.
