AL Central Division Rivals Meet
On Thursday, the Clevland Guardians will travel to start a four-game series with the Minnesota Twins, who are atop the American League Central. The Guardians won the first series at home 2-1, which could affect MLB lines.
Both teams are coming off series facing some of the top teams in the AL, testing their own MLB playoff odds. Both won their series 2-1, winning the rubber match.

The Twins have a two-game lead in the AL Central, 3.5 over the Guardians. However, they have not been playing the best baseball, losing four of the last five series.

The dropoff in offense has been a big part of this slump for Minnesota. Over the last 15 days, the Twins have scored the seventh fewest runs. Everyone on the roster has struggled, but rookie Royce Lewis sparked some life into the lineup in Game 1 against the Houston Astros. He headlined MLB news by hitting a homer with four runs batted in his first game this season.

Tanner Bibee (1-1, 2.88 ERA) vs Pablo Lopez (3-3, 4.11 ERA)
Tanner Bibee will take the mound for the Guardians. Despite being a rookie, he has looked pretty good in his six starts, striking out 34 through 34.1 innings. He is also posting a 2.88 ERA, which has been pretty balanced, only allowing more than two runs in a game once.
The Twins will have Pablo Lopez starting his 12th game this season with a 4.11 ERA. While he has been a weak point of a starting rotation with the fourth-lowest ERA, Lopez has been solid overall. His issue has been consistency, having seven starts with two or fewer runs, and the rest are over four.
