Cardinals Battling for NL Central Lead
The St. Louis Cardinals are on the verge of sweeping the Miami Marlins at Busch Stadium, which would help them tremendously as they are fighting neck and neck with the Milwaukee Brewers for first place in the National League Central.

The rookie pitcher is sporting a 2.03 ERA and has made four starts with 22 appearances overall. He is not a strong strikeout pitcher, but the Cardinals are known for their great defense to back Pallante’s ground ball tendencies.
