The Yankees are 25-18 with a +81 run differential and own the league’s top-ranked offense. They rank first in runs per game (5.81), total bases, OBP and slugging. On the other side, the Mets have the pitching edge, but the Bronx Bombers’ bats are more reliable. At home and riding offensive momentum, the Yankees are a solid play on the moneyline. This game matters, with both clubs contending to be near the top of the MLB futures odds board.

• Mets vs Yankees Under 9 Runs

These are two of the best run-prevention teams in the league. The Yankees rank No. 1 in opponent batting average (.210), while the Mets lead MLB in ERA (2.88) and home runs allowed per game (0.65). Despite strong lineups, both clubs hold opponents to under a few runs per game. This has all the makings of a 3–2 or 4–3 type of battle. Hitting near the top of the order with Pete Alonso and Juan Soto around him, Lindor should have plenty of chances to deliver with runners on. He’s one of the Mets’ most reliable RBI threats in a game that figures to be tight. The MLB betting odds at BetUS provide great value.

• Paul Goldschmidt Over 1.5 Total Bases (+149)

Paul Goldschmidt is hitting .346 with 11 doubles, five home runs and a .506 slugging percentage through 162 at-bats — that’s elite production. The MLB news today for Goldy is full of good news. He’s racking up extra-base hits and leading the Yankees in batting average, so asking him to reach two total bases in a rivalry game isn’t much. A single and a double, or just one big swing, cashes this prop. Given his current pace, this is one of the better value MLB picks on the board.
