MLB World Series Futures Picks & Predictions

The 2021 baseball season is approaching, so there is no better time to lock in some online betting futures wagers on the MLB World Series.

Will the Los Angeles Dodgers go back-to-back? Can the Yankees live up to the hype and bring the World Series back to New York?

These questions will be answered later this year, but in the meantime, check out our best favorites and long-shot picks and predictions.

New York Yankees at +500

The New York Yankees are always a favored pick to win the World Series, but everything could fall in place for them in 2021.

Aaron Boone and his men finished last season with a 33-27 record, which was good enough to finish second in the AL East. It was a slightly disappointing record, but not surprising given their injuries.

During the playoffs, the Yankees defeated the Cleveland Indians 2-0 before losing 3-2 to the Tampa Bay Rays in the ALDS.

The shortened season didn’t help the Yankees, which will benefit from having that season under their belt.

The Yankees have a strong batting lineup, including Aaron Judge, DJ LeMahieu, Gary Sanchez, and Giancarlo Stanton. It is one of the most powerful batting lineups in recent history, so that won’t be a problem for the Yankees.

Pitching has been under fire in recent years, but a rotation including Gerritt Cole, Luis Severino, and Zack Britton shouldn’t be overlooked.

Chicago White Sox at +900

Another favored team is the Chicago White Sox, who are expected to improve.

The Tony La Russa-managed team has the pieces to win the 2021 World Series, including Yasmani Grandal, Jose Abreu, and Nick Madrigal.

The 2005 World Series champions are not far off getting back to their best. There has been a steady flow of money with online bookmakers.

After starting on the seventh line of betting, it’s now on the fourth line ahead of Tampa Bay, Atlanta, and Minnesota.

Los Angeles Angels at +4000

We heard from Mike Trout this week that he’s sick of answering questions as to why the Angels don’t win. His response was expected, but it’s time for the Los Angeles Angels to start producing on the field.

Despite having one of the best players in the MLB, the Angels struggle to make it count. It’s rare to have an MVP-type player and not succeed in any sport, but the Angels continue to defy belief.

However, bettors should see an improved performance in 2021. The quality players are on the roster, including Mike Trout, Anthony Rendon, Albert Pujols, and Justin Upton. But they need to play as a unit.

The pitching roster isn’t the best we’ve ever seen, but there is plenty of room for improvement.

The Angels should be excited about this season and the +4000 at our online sportsbook is worth entertaining for bettors.

Boston Red Sox at +5500

It was sad to see Dustin Pedroia announce his retirement in the offseason, but we’re not discounting the chances of the Boston Red Sox.

Boston is a proud team and finishing last in the AL East last season won’t make them happy. However, a change in manager back to Alex Cora could be enough to spur this Red Sox team on.

A team with the likes of J.D. Martinez and Xander Bogaerts shouldn’t be overlooked, especially at astronomical odds of +5500.

The pitching roster includes a good mix of youth and experience. So we expect the Red Sox to be competitive in a tough division this season.

As the season progresses, we expect Boston’s odds to shorten. They might not win the World Series, but they are an excellent trading opportunity for bettors that take advantage of the cash-out option.
