My prediction

New York Mets -1.5 (+135)

The Nationals and Mets meet for the fifth time this season – and I’m all in on the Big Apple on the latest MLB lines today. Why? With the arms matching up pretty evenly, this one comes down to hitting – and the Mets win that all day. Not to mention, with the Nationals’ offense struggling to put up runs, scoring just two in their last five, New York should clean up. Back the Blue and Orange.

I know 10 total runs may seem steep for a division game — especially when one team hasn’t even scored three in their last five – but for my MLB futures bet, I like the over. Washington might come out flat again, but it won’t matter. With how hot New York’s bats have been, the Mets can do most of the heavy lifting. Don’t forget, last time these two met, the game finished with 24 total runs scored.

While the last matchup flew past the hit count, my MLB predictions is siding with the under this time. Before you ask why – hear me out. The Nationals’ offense is still trying to figure things out, and with both teams sending strong arms to the mound, I don’t see hits piling up. Don’t get it twisted, there will be contact, just not chaos. Bet online, and take the under on 18 total hits.
