Let the Rebuild Begin
For the remainder of 2022, it will be a learning experience for the Washington Nationals. The rebuild has begun as they said goodbye to their generational superstar, the 23-year-old Juan Soto.
For the team that is 3-7 in their last 10 games, Patrick Corbin takes the mound. Corbin is 4-15 in 2022 with a 6.57 ERA, 1.77 WHIP, and 102 strikeouts through 109.2 IP. The Nationals have not won a game with the LHP since June 28.
The 33-year-old is having the worst season of his career. The Phillies put up nine runs against Corbin in his lone start against them, but only two were earned.

Ranger Suarez will step on the rubber for the Phillies Saturday evening. Suarez is 7-5 with a 3.60 ERA, 1.35 WHIP, and 80 strikeouts through 95.0 IP. He has not allowed a single earned run in his last three outings.
Suarez does struggle at Citizens Bank Park, where he is 1-4 with a 4.54 ERA. Not a lot of people know the name Suarez, but he is quietly having a great season.
Philadelphia is known for its well-rounded team. Their moneyline on MLB lines is 28-25 at home and 36-34 at night. Philadelphia has also done well against the spread in 2022.
They are 56-50, but only 25-28 at home. Perhaps they eat too many Philly cheesesteaks before the games.
