The Baltimore Orioles currently find themselves just 1½ games back of the Toronto Blue Jays in the American League East. Toronto is tied with the Tampa Bay Rays for second place in the division.

The Baltimore Orioles just took a convincing win over Toronto and is aiming for more as they charge up the standings. They are 14-8 in their last 22.
They’re seeing the ball well right now as they’re batting .275 as a team over the last 10 days. Cedric Mullins is among the guys leading the way as he’s batting .388 over the last week with a home run.
Baltimore will be rolling out Dean Kremer on the mound on Tuesday. Kremer is 4-4 with an effective 3.69 ERA.
While the ERA looks good, keep in mind that he’s in a bit of a funk. The team has lost three of his last four starts. During that time, he’s pitched 21.2 innings and has allowed 14 runs.
Blue Jays Slumping
The Toronto Blue Jays don’t want to slip again and Baltimore is closing the gap in the division. Alek Manoah will be starting and that’s why they’re big chalk in the sportsbook.
Manoah has been great for Toronto with a 12-5 record and the eighth-best ERA in the league at 2.56.
The last time that we saw the All-Star on the mound was against these very same Orioles. Manoah was out there for five innings and allowed three runs during that span as the Blue Jays went on to lose that game 6-5.

Baltimore could be a convincing pick in this game after winning four straight matchups against the Blue Jays. On paper, pitching might be the area that decides the night.
