Not only are the Phillies coming into tonight’s game riding a four-game winning streak, they also do so after beating Colorado 9-3 in the series’ first game.

Long story short, expecting anything positive out of the Rockies tonight is as long of a shot as betting on their current 2025 MLB World Series odds (+100000) and hoping to be popping champagne and quitting your job come early November.

With Jesus Luzardo taking the mound for Philly and his offense ready to beat up on a reeling Antonio Senzatela and the rest of Colorado’s sad bullpen, betting on Luzardo and the Phillies to cover the run line at -185 odds is one of those MLB expert picks that feel like a no brainer.

Phillies shortstop Trea Turner leads his team in batting average with .303. He also leads the pack in hits with 56.

He smacked three hits (single, double, and triple), drove in two RBIs and scored once on Monday. And that was facing a much stronger pitcher Kyle Freeland.

Considering last night’s performance, the fact he’s gotten seven hits over the last seven days, and how poorly Colorado is expected to perform on the mound, his +106 odds to go over 1.5 hits need to be in your MLB same-game parlay picks tonight.
