Brandon Nimmo, Juan Soto, Pete Alonso and Jeff McNeil are all on a roll for the Mets, while scheduled starter Clay Holmes has a 0.93 career ERA against the Rays. That makes New York our MLB expert pick today.

Rays vs Mets Under 8 Runs (-115)
Holmes (7-3, 2.95 ERA) has been very good for the Mets, including two straight wins and just five runs allowed across 18 ⅔ innings over the last three outings. Holmes should be able to keep the Rays down, even though they have improved on offense in 2025. Taj Bradley (4-5, 4.58) struggled last time out for Tampa Bay, but it is our MLB game prediction today that he is due for a solid effort.
