Errors Bite Boston Once Again
The Cleveland Guardians (28-33) tied the series 1-1 following Wednesday’s 5-2 win over the Boston Red Sox (31-31). The two will battle for the series win on Thursday. Game 2 was filled with errors. The fourth inning had five, including three from the Red Sox.
Boston’s fielding has been a consistent problem, ranking 29th in the category. Despite poor fielding, the under comfortably hit. The Red Sox are in a hitting slump, while the Guardians are one of the lowest-scoring teams in baseball. MLB bets will likely lean on the under once again.

Are Cleveland’s bats waking up? The Guardians have totaled 10 hits in back-to-back games. Boston’s porous defense ranks in the bottom eight of allowed batting average, hits, and runs per game. Cleveland will look to take advantage of the weakness once again. Shortstop Amed Rosario returned to the starting lineup on Wednesday and was the driving force with three hits, including one two-bagger. After scoring two runs in Game 2, MLB odds have Rosario recording a run priced at -115.
