Cincinnati can tie their season’s longest winning streak with a victory Wednesday. It has scored at least eight runs in four straight wins while hitting .361 and drawing 19 walks. That attack keeps pressure on opponents and has fueled the Reds’ 32-22-0 mark against the run line at the sportsbook.

Weaver is coming off his best start of the year Thursday against St. Louis. He blanked the Cardinals over 6⅓ innings while giving up just three hits and walking one. It left the 29-year-old with a 3.68 ERA over his last four starts as he shows signs of finding a groove. Weaver has made just one relief appearance in his career at Fenway Park. Current Red Sox hitters are a combined 14-for-38 .368 against him.
This will be Paxton’s fourth start since returning from a spring training hamstring injury. The first two went well (three runs allowed in 11 innings), but he gave up five runs in just three frames against the Angels his last time out. The 34-year-old, who has never faced the Reds, has a remarkable 25 strikeouts against four walks in 15 ⅔ innings in his career at Fenway. Perhaps that will impact your online gambling choices.
