Picks, Prediction for Rockies vs Diamondbacks on Wednesday, May 31
Arizona Aims for Series Sweep
The Arizona Diamondbacks will look to pick up a series sweep over the Colorado Rockies when the two clash in Game 3 of a four-game series. Meanwhile, Colorado hopes to bounce back despite the MLB odds favoring the Diamondbacks once again.
Rockies Offense Stumbles
Colorado’s pitchers gave up five runs in the second loss, but its offense didn’t do enough to keep up with Arizona either.

After the Rockies scored five runs in the series-opening loss, they only managed one run in Game 2, striking out 12 times and finishing with a .235 batting average, going 0-for-8 with runners in scoring position.
The Rockies are fifth in the league with a .263 batting average, and they will need their offense to pick up and help them get back on track in Game 3.
Diamondbacks Stay Hot
Arizona picked up its third straight win after its offense had another solid day.
Following a series-opening win in which the Diamondbacks scored seven runs, they kept the runs coming in Game 2, scoring five.
Arizona was led by Evan Longoria, who had a two-run homer, one of three home runs the Diamondbacks hit in the win.

The Diamondbacks have had three straight games with two or more home runs, and they could be a solid MLB live betting pick to get a couple more in Game 3.
Starting Pitchers
Dinelson Lamet (1-1, 12.66 ERA) vs. Tommy Henry (2-1, 4.50)
Dinelson Lamet will return from the injured list for the Rockies, hoping to improve his performance before his injury. Lamet has not yet started for the Rockies, and in his last two outings, he allowed six runs in ⅔ innings pitched, including one game against Arizona, making him tough to trust in MLB picks.
Tommy Henry has not had the smoothest sailing either but has shown improvement from April to May. After recording a 6.52 ERA in April, he cut that to 3.70 in May. However, he allowed four runs in 5 ⅓ innings of play against Colorado.
Rockies vs Diamondbacks Head-to-Head
The Rockies and Diamondbacks already met this season in a three-game series in late April, where Arizona won 2-1.

Over/Under Pick
The two have hit the over and under once in their first two games. However, with a new starting pitcher in Lamet and the Diamondbacks not appearing to slow down much offensively, Game 3 should be able to hit the over on the 10-run total from MLB lines.
Pick: Over 10 (-105)
Moneyline Pick
Arizona has gotten the better of Colorado twice at home and twice on the road, and with a 17-12 home record, it’s no surprise the sportsbook favors them in Game 3 as well. The Diamondbacks should pick up the series win early on Wednesday.
