Colorado on Four-Game Winning Streak

Mets Looking to Cool Off Colorado

The Colorado Rockies just won their fourth straight game on Thursday with three of those coming during a sweep against the talented Milwaukee Brewers. Maybe this is a good sign of things to come.

Meanwhile, the New York Mets started the year 14-8 but have now fallen to 16-16 and enter this series on a three-game losing streak. They’re favored on the MLB odds, but are they the right bet?

Rockies Get Rolling

The Rockies have won four straight and are now up to 12-20 on the season. They’ll send Antonio Senzatela to the mound here as he tries to extend that streak to five.

Those who bet online should note that Senzatela hasn’t actually seen the field in months after suffering a torn ACL in his last appearance during the 2022 campaign. He’s been making Triple-A starts and looks like he’s ready to return.

He’s had some mixed results in rehab and is coming off an outing where he coughed up eight hits and six runs. The Mets lineup is batting just .238 but this could be a spot where they get back on track. Senzatela is a wild card in the sportsbook.

Mets Sending Out Senga

The Mets are going with Kodai Senga, who’s had some success early this season. Senga has appeared in five games this year for the Mets, helping the team win four of them.

While the team has been good for your MLB picks when he’s on the mound, he has a 4.15 ERA and a 1.58 WHIP. Neither of those are all that healthy.

The big issue for him is home runs and that’s why you might want to watch this game and do some MLB live betting before you make your call.

Senga has allowed a home run in three of his starts, allowing nine earned runs in those 15.2 innings of work. In the two games he hasn’t allowed a jack, he’s lasted 10.1 innings while giving up just two earned runs.

The good news for Senga and the Mets on the MLB lines is that only three teams have hit fewer home runs than the Rockies this season.

Rockies vs Mets Picks and Prediction

The Rockies might have won four straight games, but New York has dominated them lately, winning 10 out of the last 14 matchups.

On top of that, Senzatela is returning from a torn ACL and hasn’t looked good in rehab. It’s a big line to lay here, but the Mets look like the right call.
