My prediction

Moneyline Pick: Giants -126

San Francisco has been a surprise success early on this season and some of that has to do with its home record of 16-7. The Giants should be able to add another win to that against a Royals team that has really struggled on the road in 2025, coming into this one with a 9-13 mark. This series could be a tight one, but we like San Francisco to get the upper hand with a series-opening victory. Make sure your MLB betting includes taking the home team to win.

Royals vs Giants Under 7.5 Runs

These two teams both rank in the bottom third of baseball in batting average while Kansas City is 27th in the majors in runs scored. San Francisco has been able to put runs on the board in different ways, but we don’t this score going above the total. This will be one of those MLB games that is decided late and by maybe a run, so take the under.

The MLB RBI leader, Wilmer Flores, is coming off a pair of hitless games over the weekend, but that was after he hit three home runs and drove in eight in the series opener against the Athletics on Friday. He followed that up with the game-winning RBI on a bases-loaded walk on Saturday.

We like Flores to drive in at least one run in Monday’s contest, likely by the more conventional way of a hit, so we’re making him our the top of our MLB prop picks.
