But playing at home and giving the ball to right-hander Dylan Cease, who ranks 10th in MLB for strikeouts, I like their chances on the latest MLB odds. Look, the Royals have been sneaky – better than they look on paper – but I expect Cease to jam batters, and keep Kansas City’s offense in check.

Sure, Friday’s final screams over, but don’t fall for it. Why? Cease is coming off back-to-back 9+ strikeout games against the Dodgers, and Royals southpaw Noah Cameron has held his own with a 1.19 ERA through four starts. With both arms’ track record, I see the pitching controlling the tempo, and the bats being limited. Take the under.
