I have my MLB best bets for the Detroit Tigers vs Baltimore Orioles on Thursday, where most of the early money has come for the road team.

My prediction:

MLB futures odds have the Tigers making a deep playoff run, so I expect them to bounce back with a 5-1 win in the finale of the three-game series.

Run Line Pick: Tigers -1.5 (-110)

The Tigers didn’t show much on Wednesday, but a bounce-back performance is likely. They lost 10-1, but with AL Cy Young favorite Tarik Skubal on the mound, they might only need a few runs to get it done. The latest MLB news suggests Javier Baez is back in the team after being scratched on Wednesday, and that bolsters their hitting lineup.

Under 8 Runs (-105)

I expect the Tigers to allow only 1-2 runs at the most with Skubal pitching, so I’m confidently including under 8 runs in my MLB prop bets. Four of their last five meetings have totaled eight runs or less, so it’s a good statistical bet for the American League matchup.

My MLB game picks include Javier Baez over 0.5 hits. It’s a low line for the Tigers player, who didn’t play on Wednesday, but the big-money player should be fit and ready to fire. He’s the most dynamic player on the Tigers roster, and although the odds are on the short side, he’s worth including as one of my MLB best bets.

My MLB prop picks have Skubal issuing over 7.5 strikeouts. He has been elite in 2025, fanning 105 batters from 83.1 innings pitched. That’s an excellent record, and the Orioles batters are there to be struck out. They don’t have good averages, and despite scoring 10 runs on Wednesday, that game was an anomaly.
