The 5-13 Atlanta Braves enter the first of three home games in a weekend series against the 7-12 Minnesota Twins as -143 MLB betting odds favorites.

After losing two of their last three games in a midweek series against the Toronto Blue Jays in Canada, Atlanta is hoping that coming back to Truist Park will help do the trick and spark what’s been a flailing offense in the start of the season.

For the Twins, coming off winning two out of three games against the New York Mets at home, the hopes are that they can take that energy into Georgia and hand the Braves their 14th loss of the season.

Let’s break down the three best MLB parlay bets for the first Twins vs Braves matchup this weekend. With the game set to start at 7:15 p.m. ET,  we’re including the two top MLB props today for this game.

Top 3 Twins vs Braves Parlay Picks

1. Twins vs Braves Over 8 Runs (-115)

What do you get when you have Chris Paddack (9.49 ERA) and Bryce Elder (7.20 ERA) taking the mound for the first Twins vs Braves game of their weekend series? Yes, the chance for there to be a lot of runs driven in at Truist Park tonight.

Both Paddack and Elder have struggled greatly to start the season, giving up a combined seven home runs and 27 hits in their first outings, per MLB betting tips. Chalk that up next to Atlanta’s serious need to score a commanding win at home to start this series off right and targeting the over in the total makes more sense.

In Atlanta’s last five games, the total has gone over four times. Furthermore, the total has gone over in two of Paddack’s three starts for the Twins. It doesn’t take the savviest MLB expert picks and parlays wiz to notice the trend here, so do the easy thing here and bet the over.

Bet on Twins vs Braves Over 8 Runs (-115)

2. Harrison Bader Over 0.5 Hits (-136)

Playing it safe with Minnesota’s offense for this game, for the second of my Twins vs Braves MLB betting picks, let’s go with centerfielder Harrison Bader getting at least one hit tonight against Atlanta.

Bader is coming off snagging five hits vs the Mets in his last two games, and it doesn’t take a baseball genius to figure out the Mets are a much, much better team than the Braves.

While I don’t buy into backing Minnesota’s offense as a whole, Bader’s over in hits tonight could make for a perfect leg in this same game parlay.

Bet on Harrison Bader Over 0.5 Hits (-136)

3. Austin Riley 1+ HRs (+350)

Coming off hitting three home runs in his last three games, Braves third baseman Austin Riley, the team’s leader in home runs, RBIs and hits, is giving off the perfect best MLB parlay pick vibe for tonight.

With Paddack already having given up three HRs this season and Truist Park standing out as one of the best parks to hit for right handers like Riley, I’m going with my gut here and predicting Atlanta’s second bat will go yard at least once tonight.

At +350 odds, the return is too good to pass up.
