He needs to get back to striking out batters. The last two games saw Cobb post some of the lowest strikeout numbers of the season. He’ll also need to last more than four innings, which is all he pitched his last two games.
This might be difficult against a Chicago White Sox offense that ranks sixth in strikeouts, meaning they don’t strike out often. He’ll need to use his low-90s sinker to his advantage.
