Yankees vs Red Sox SGP Picks Today 06/13

Two of the biggest rivals in baseball square off again when the New York Yankees visit the Boston Red Sox for a three-game weekend series that begins Friday night. Anyone who likes to bet on MLB games enjoys wagering on these AL East rivals, who are matching up for the second weekend in a row.

Boston took two of three on the road last weekend and is favored in Friday’s series opener as well. I’m going to take a closer look and give you some of my best MLB parlay picks today.

There are a couple of solid starters scheduled for Friday’s game in New York’s Ryan Yarbrough (3-1, 4.17 ERA) and Boston’s Garrett Crochet (6-4, 2.35). But when this was the starting pitcher matchup last weekend, the game ended in a 10-7 Boston victory, with these two allowing a combined 13 earned runs. In fact, every game of last week’s series finished with at least 15 runs, so the 8.5-run total for this one seems a little low. Take the over as one of your MLB picks.

2. Garrett Crochet Over 7.5 Strikeouts (-141)

Despite his struggles keeping the Yankees off the scoreboard last week, Crochet had a solid outing, going six innings for the third straight start and finishing with nine strikeouts, which was his low mark for those three outings. Crochet is third in the majors in strikeouts with 110 this season, and he’ll be facing a Yankees team eager to swing after managing just a single run in Thursday’s win over Kansas City. I have Crochet’s strikeout total as one of my top MLB player prop bets for a pitcher.

3. Aaron Judge 2+ Runs+RBIs (+114)

I was betting on this for Thursday’s series finale for the Yankees vs the Royals, but Aaron Judge sat out to rest. With a little extra rest and facing the hated Red Sox, we like Judge to come up big in the series opener. He has a three-game home run streak, which he could extend as well in this one.
