The 30-19 New York Yankees are taking their utterly dominant offense on a road trip to one of the best ballparks in MLB to hit and stack up runs, Coors Field, when they visit the 8-42 Colorado Rockies tonight.

With MLB odds today showing New York as clear favorites to win and cover the run line, let’s break down the best MLB parlay bets today and props to target.

Yankees vs Rockies Prediction and Best Bets Today, May 23

My prediction

  • New York Yankees -1.5 (-190)

On paper, this Yankees vs Rockies matchup reads borderline unfair. You’re taking one of the most dominant teams in baseball right now, New York, and pitting them against a team that’s en route to taking the title as the worst-performing team in MLB history.

There’s a reason why New York’s moneyline is currently at -280 and Colorado’s at +238. Even on an off day, the Yankees still have enough in their tanks to not only beat the Rockies but cover the run line without breaking a sweat.

With how both teams are performing right now, I’m more than comfortable backing them winning by multiple runs tonight.

Bet the Yankees -1.5 (-190)

  • Yankees vs Rockies Over 11.5

A rule of thumb I’ve been practicing all season long when it comes to Rockies home games is that it doesn’t matter who they’re playing, betting on the total score going over usually pays off.

It’s worked in 13 games, and today, squaring off against one of the strongest attacks in all of baseball, New York’s I say take the over once again.

Yes, New York’s bats have been kind of quiet lately, scoring 10 combined runs in their recent three-game series against the Texas Rangers. But if there was ever a time to wake up and run up a scoreboard, it’s tonight against the perennially sad Rockies.

Don’t waste your time chasing MLB strike out props here or anything non-offense related. Just sit back and watch the Yankees stack runs tonight.

Bet Yankees vs Rockies Total Over 11.5

My Best Prop Bets

  • Tanner Gordon Over 3.5 Earned Runs (-141)

If eating up seven runs in his first, and only start of the season until now wasn’t enough for Tanner Gordon (5.68 ERA), Colorado’s starter tonight, imagine what it’s like knowing your second start will be against one of the league’s most dominant offenses, the Yankees?

Even if New York’s bats were riding low in their last series against the Texas Rangers, what better time to come alive again than tonight, playing at Coors Field, a field made for scoring runs left and right?

All signs point towards Gordon being a victim of an offensive beating at the hands of New York’s offense, hence, my first MLB prop pick today is going with his over in runs allowed at -141.

Bet Tanner Gordon Over 3.5 Earned Runs (-141)

  • Aaron Judge 1+ Home Runs (+150)

If I were looking for sure-fire free MLB parlay picks today and learned that Yankees superstar Aaron Judge is heading to Coors Field, I’d waste no time laying a couple of bucks down on him smacking at least one HR.

Funny enough, it just so happens that Judge, who leads his team in all major offensive stats categories, will be at Coors Field tonight.

Between Colorado’s home field being like a play park for home run hitters and the team’s pitching staff having already given up 56 HRs at home this season, tell me Judge’s +150 odds don’t stand out as one of the best MLB bets today?

Bet Aaron Judge 1+ Home Runs (+150)
