Bet on Ferrari to Finish Strong in Abu Dhabi Grand Prix

Max Verstappen and Red Bull won the Las Vegas Grand Prix. But it was Charles Leclerc and Ferrari that impressed the most. The team was handed an unfortunate penalty and a kerfuffle between Verstappen and George Russell all but snipped Leclerc’s bid for his first win. With all that said, Ferrari is on the upswing and we are going to continue riding them for the final Formula 1 betting lines of 2023.

Ferrari to Finish the Job

We cashed a few bets online on Ferrari last week. Leclerc notched the pole position while Carlos Sainz overcame a penalty to finish in the top six. With better luck, Ferrari could have finished the race one-two. Still, Leclerc overtook Perez to finish second. And this was a snapshot on how the team has performed.

Ferrari has had at least one driver finish on the podium in three of the last four races. Leclerc has won pole position in a similar fashion. And the overtake by Leclerc showed that Ferrari has gotten a lot closer to Red Bull. It’s not too little too late either as it can overtake Mercedes to finish second in the constructor standings.

Thus, Ferrari has more motivation to crush the Abu Dhabi circuit. Since its renovation, this track has favored Ferrari’s blistering speed. Fans can bet some juicy lines as Ferrari has a strong qualifying with Leclerc on top. And for the race, Ferrari will set the pace as both Leclerc and Sainz will do what they should have done in Vegas.

Formula 1 Pick: Pole Position – Charles Leclerc (+350)

Formula 1 Pick: Both Cars Podium Finish – Ferrari (+975)

Aston Martin Rallies, Williams Recovers

As for other teams and drivers worth betting on, look to two: Aston Martin and Williams, in particular, Alex Albon. Aston Martin has been strong lately. Lance Stroll finished fifth in Las Vegas while Fernando Alonso managed to fight his way to a ninth-placed finish. The constructor can still reclaim the fourth spot from McLaren.

While the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix race’s track does not seem to suit Aston Martin’s strengths, there are enough turns here to give Alonso and co. spots to gain. At the least, it is a solid F1 prediction to see both Alonso and Stroll gain points.

As for Albon, he and Williams wasted a top-five position in Las Vegas. Whatever it was, the constructor is showing it has the ability to push a car that can keep up in terms of pace. And since the Yas Marina Circuit is something more familiar, Albon is not a bad F1 pick to finish in the top 10.

Formula 1 Pick: Both Cars Points Finish – Aston Martin (+160)

Formula 1 Pick: Points Finish – Alex Albon (+175)

Ride With Bet on Leclerc to Win Abu Dhabi GP

This 2023 F1 season has been predictable with Verstappen and Red Bull dominating. But this last race could give us a new winner and we’re hitching our wagons to Leclerc. Though snakebitten for most of the season, Leclerc has been arguably just as good as Verstappen in recent races. Given his lengthy F1 odds, bet on Leclerc to capture the final race of the year.
