British Grand Prix Predictions, Race Preview, Live Stream, Odds & Picks, July 3

More than 70 Years Later …

In 1950, the Silverstone circuit was first introduced to Formula 1. It has become a staple of the schedule, and this year the British Grand Prix will be the 10th race of the season.

This track is known for its high-speed turns and was highlighted last year by a monstrous crash between Hamilton and Verstappen. Be sure to read below for all the best Formula One odds this weekend at Bet US Sportsbook.

Will Lewis Take His Ninth British Grand Prix Victory?

Lewis Hamilton has won every British Grand Prix since 2014, excluding the 2018 race (Lewis finished second after being pushed off of the track on the first lap). His eight British GP victories (2008, 2014-2017, 2019-2021) are the most by one driver at any circuit in Formula One history.

Despite his impressive record at this circuit, Hamilton is yet to win a race this season. Currently, you can use online sports betting to wager whether Hamilton will win a race this season. Will he break the 2022 Mercedes curse this weekend at his home track, or will it be another disappointing weekend for the silver arrows?

Red Bull’s Dominant 2022 Will Continue at Silverstone

The 2022 F1 season could not be going any better for a Red Bull team searching for its first Constructors Championship in nearly 10 years. Red Bull Racing currently sits in first place in the standings with 304 points, 76 points ahead of Ferrari.

Las Vegas odds have them as an impressive -450 favorite to win the Constructors Championship this year. Red Bull is also searching for its first win at Silverstone since 2012 when Mark Webber won the race for the Austrian-based team.

Formula 1 2022: Red Bull vs Mercedes Head-to-Head Results

These teams competed as bitter rivals last season, but this year Red Bull has been in a league of its own. Mercedes has only had three races this year in which they’ve had a car finish ahead of a Red Bull, and all of those instances were due to retirements by the Red Bull car due to mechanical or engine failures. When the car is free of issues, Red Bull has easily dominated Mercedes.

With this in mind and the fact that Max Verstappen was pushed off at this track by Lewis Hamilton last season, I am fully expecting a commanding performance from Red Bull this weekend at Silverstone.

Formula One British Grand Prix Prediction

The betting odds for the race this weekend sit as they usually do early in the week. Max Verstappen is a slight favorite, Charles Leclerc follows around +200, and everyone else is +1000 or an even bigger underdog.

To nobody’s surprise, I highly suggest betting on Verstappen before practice and qualifying start this weekend. Online Sportsbooks have Max at -110 right now, but that line will shoot up quickly if he performs well in practice.

Verstappen wants and needs to win this race. He had a tough race last year at Silverstone and has never won here in his career.

You can be sure that Max will come out with the energy and passion needed to take the pole position and win this race on Sunday. Make sure to bet on F1 with Bet US Sportsbook for all the best online sports betting odds.
