F1 Chinese GP Prediction, Odds and Picks: Bet on Williams, Kimi Antonelli and Lando Norris March 23

The Australian Grand Prix was quite the chaotic start to the 2025 F1 season. We saw six retirements and also-ran teams (like Kick Sauber and Williams) score more points than the mighty Ferrari. But in the end, Lando Norris won the race as his short F1 odds proclaimed. We expect the Chinese Grand Prix to be less of a mess and to emphasize the “surprises” we saw from Albert Park.

Top 3 Chinese GP F1 Predictions

1. Williams is “Forreal” – Bank on Double Top 10 (Ev)

Is Williams back? That seemed to be the case Alex Albon raced his life, finishing fifth while outperforming both Ferrari drivers. Carlos Sainz Jr. crashed but should do better to score some points here. So why not bet both to finish in the top 10 for a discount on the Chinese Grand Prix odds?

Albon has always been one of the better mid-tier drivers. If Williams has improved then last week’s top-five finish was not a fluke. We don’t expect him to have a similar result as we won’t get six retirements nor will we get rain. Still, the least Albon can do as an encore is to finish in the top 10. Sainz will also get on the board.

Bet on Both Cars Points Finish – Williams (Ev)

2. Mercedes Rookie Is Also the Real Deal – Bet on Top Six Finish

Most of the rookies had a brutal start to their F1 careers. Some didn’t even make it past the first lap. But Andrea Kimi Antonelli stole the show for Mercedes. The rookie started 16th on the grid but finished fourth. We’re sold already and expect him to continue to make surprising F1 news.

We’d like longer odds on Antonelli to finish in the top six but we’ll take it at even money. Ferrari looks to still figure things out while Lance Stroll will not finish in the top six again. Having clear weather and fewer crashes will make things more competitive. But we’ll put faith in a rookie who made up 12 spots in his debut.

Bet on Top 6 Finish – Andrea Kimi Antonelli (-135)

3. Norris Wins a Second Straight Race

We hate picking the chalk but it’s tough to go against Lando Norris in the McLaren for our winning F1 pick. Our other choice is to take Oscar Piastri but last week’s race proved that his aggression can be more of a detriment than a boon. Norris is the top pick to win the F1 title this year and for good reason.

The Briton has the best car on the grid—even if it’s not to his utmost approval—and the runner-ups have had less than a week to fine-tune theirs to match. We doubt Ferrari, Mercedes, or Red Bull can keep up with McLaren.

Max Verstappen is not a shocking choice to win. But he was not a threat to beat the race leader last week. Neither was George Russell as the Ferrari crew have a lot to figure out. It’s a vanilla F1 prediction. But bet on Lando Norris to win a third straight race – and the second of 2025.

Bet To Win Outright – Lando Norris (-110)
