Can Anyone Catch Red Bull?
This Formula One season has provided us, viewers, with excellent racing every weekend, and the fight in the Constructors Championship is beginning to heat up. Ferrari showed its dominance in the early season, but Red Bull dominated six straight race weekends before Ferrari won the past two weeks.
Red Bull Dominance Continues
Red Bull has one of the strongest driver lineups on the grid between last year’s world champion Max Verstappen and veteran Sergio Perez.
Verstappen currently sits in first place with 208 points, and Perez is in third place with 151 points. Red Bull has had its reliability issues this season, but they have proven they are the fastest team on the grid, leading the Constructors standings with 359 points.
Red Bull has already obtained seven wins and 14 podiums this season.
Can Ferrari Sort Out Reliability Issues?
Ferrari also has very strong but younger drivers in Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz. Leclerc currently sits in second place in the standings with 170 points while Sainz is fourth with 133 points.
Ferrari has also had some very serious reliability issues this season, and it actually cost them a 1-2 podium finish in Austria last weekend as Sainz was forced to retire late in the race due to an engine problem.
Ferrari sits in second place behind Red Bull with 303 points. Ferrari has had four wins and 11 podiums.
Mercedes Making Late-Season Comeback?
Mercedes is having a very rough season based on their own standards after winning the Constructors Championship last season. They sit in third place in the standings.
They also have a new driver’s lineup with seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton and the young George Russell. Mercedes has lacked pace all season, but they have scored consistent points. Mercedes have seemed to find more pace in the last few races, but not enough to consistently compete with Red Bull and Ferrari week in and out.
Mercedes has 237 points. When looking at F1 odds today, know that Mercedes has zero wins and seven podiums.

Constructors Championship Prediction?
If you are going to bet online, know the Constructors Championship is getting very close between Red Bull and Ferrari. Mercedes is likely out of the race. Mercedes might score consistent points every weekend, but they can not match the pace of the Red Bull or Ferrari, and they have not won a race in 2022.
The winner of the Constructors Championship is going to be Red Bull unless something dramatic happens with their car. Ferrari might be as fast, but Max Verstappen is the best driver on the grid and no one will consistently beat him in that car.
Red Bull overall has the better car this season, and, just like the sportsbook, they are the pick to win.
