Formula One Hits South Beach with Miami Grand Prix
After years of deliberation, lawsuits, and community backlash, Formula One is finally hosting a Grand Prix race in Miami. The FIA and Formula One are extremely excited to have another American Race this season and for seasons to come.
Charles Leclerc leads the pack with 86 points so far this season, followed by Max Verstappen with 59 points. Verstappen’s teammate Sergio Perez is close behind in third place with 54 points, and 5 points behind him with 49 points, is George Russell from Mercedes.
Notice Lewis Hamilton is not on that list. The 7-time world champion sits currently in the seventh position with only 28 points this year. The Brit hopes he can change his luck at the Miami International Autodrome, a track that nobody has driven yet.
Let’s check the latest news, stats, reports, and Formula 1 odds for Miami Grand Prix. We’ve plenty of predictions for you to consider.
Red Bull and Verstappen On a Tear
Red Bull won their first Driver’s Championship since 2013 last year thanks to Max Verstappen, and this season they’ll be chasing their first Constructors Championship in the same time span. Verstappen and his teammate Sergio “Checo” Perez sit second and third in the individual standings and sit just nine points behind Ferrari as a team.
Early in the season, the Red Bull car seemed shaky. It failed at the last moment in the first race of the season and has had issues in races since. Despite the troubles, Max has not lost a race that he’s finished this year, and Checo has placed second, fourth, and second in the three races that he’s finished.
Red Bull seems set to run the table if they can maintain their car and support their drivers. Max and Checo are arguably two of the best drivers in all of Formula One and it’s showing right now on the track.
Ferrari Finally focused
For the past few years, fans of Ferrari motor racing have been a bit disappointed. Despite being the most famous, luxurious, and recognizable car company on the planet, Ferrari has struggled to produce results in Formula One since 2019. Two, bad seasons have plagued the Italian powerhouse, but now they sit at the front of the pack.
Carlos Sainz, despite not finishing two of the four races this year, holds two podiums and is in fifth place in the standings. Ferrari needs him to finish races and gather points if they want to hold onto their lead over Red Bull. There is plenty of time left in the year, and the Miami GP will show us how each team races on a new track.
Ferrari and Red Bull Leading the Pack
This season Red Bull and Ferrari have split the four Grand Prix trophies. Charles Leclerc won the first and third races while Max Verstappen won the second and fourth. Leclerc leads the entire field in points, but Verstappen has won every race that he’s finished. If Red Bull can avoid crashes and engine issues, Max should be the favorite to win.
Both of these teams have looked incredible with multiple podium finishes for both drivers on each team. Without a doubt, the Miami Grand Prix will be an epic spectacle for racing fans around the world.

Miami Grand Prix Betting Predictions
The Miami Grand Prix is being held at the Miami International Autodrome outside of Hard Rock Stadium in South Florida. This track has never been raced on before so there isn’t much information to rely on before the practice rounds.
For that reason, Max Verstappen will win the Miami Grand Prix. He’s arguably the most skilled driver in unarguably the fastest car. You can expect Max to get a hold of this track fairly quickly and outshine everyone in the first annual Miami Grand Prix.
Verstappen currently sits at even odds, to win the race. If you bet $100 on Formula One odds to win, you’ll profit $100 when he wins. Taking the former Champion in the best car at a new track feels like the easiest play in Formula One betting so far this season.
