Weekend Motorsport Fix
F1 Monaco Grand Prix odds and Indianapolis 500 lines are available for this weekend’s racing.
The sportsbook has plenty of options to include in your parlay, including a podium finish for both races.
Double Down on Dixon
Scott Dixon is an excellent chance to win the Indianapolis 500 on Sunday, so we’re including him in our motorsport parlay selections.
Indianapolis 500 betting markets have Dixon at +800 to win outright and +240 to finish in the first three, which is a fair price.
The former winner has a fast car and the experience needed to win the biggest race of the year, so we don’t see many negatives.
The size of the field can be enough to put off some sport betting fans, but Dixon is all class and stays out of trouble, which is always crucial.
“[I’m] always excited to be back here,” Dixon said. “To be one of 33 to start this race, and have another chance at trying to win.”
Dixon is one of the better bets of the weekend, so he’s worth including in your parlay selections.
Perez to Continue Red Bull Run
We don’t think Red Bull can be stopped in the 2023 Formula One season, so why not capitalize?
Max Verstappen is the race favorite, but we’re more intrigued with Sergio Perez at +110 to finish on the podium.
He has been a model of consistency throughout the year, and he has even been good enough to beat his teammate across the line.
Given Red Bull’s dominance, we expected Perez to be around -400 for a podium with online gambling markets, so getting +110 is an excellent price.
Despite Red Bull downplaying their strength, we think they’re bluffing.
“We certainly know it’s not our strongest circuit,” admitted Perez, who has finished on the podium twice in Monte Carlo.
“We will struggle a bit to show our strengths, but it’s still Monaco. Come Saturday you still need a good warm-up on your tire, that is the key around here. Let’s say it’s not our strongest circuit, but we will see. It’s Monaco and everything can happen.”
We’re more than happy to include Perez in our motorsport parlay.
Alonso Underrated
Fernando Alonso is another quality driver we expect to finish in the first three at Monaco.
The world-class driver currently sits in third position on the ladder after scoring a podium finish in four of the five races, so it wasn’t surprising to see the -140 odds available.
Most of the money has come for Team Red Bull and Charles Leclerc, but we think Alonso has a much better driving ability to get by.
We would have been happy to take around -150 for Alonso, and if he makes a positive start during the race, live betting markets could firm his odds to around -160 for a podium finish.
With two favorites featuring in our parlay, we’re including Alonso to boost payouts.
