It’s Anyone’s Championship
Although Fabio Quartararo has led the MotoGP championship for most of the season, Francesco Bagnaia has won the last six races in which he’s finished. That being said, Bagnaia also has crashed in three of his last nine races. This has allowed Aleix Espargaro to catch up in the standings, with only 33 points separating the top three riders.
With six races left in the season, including Sunday’s Aragon Grand Prix in Spain, anybody could still come out on top. MotoGP betting odds currently favor Quartararo to win the season title. Bagnaia is the second favorite while Espargaro is a major underdog.
Let’s check the latest news, Motorsports picks, stats, reports, and Motorsports odds for MotoGP. We’ve plenty of Motorsports predictions for you to consider.
Bagnaia’s legendary season
Despite sitting in second place in the standings right now, Bagnaia is on pace to have a potentially record-breaking season. His six wins are the most of any driver this season, and he has a chance to break into the top five for most wins in a single season if he can win five more races. The opportunity that he’s presented with is fascinating and unprecedented. Bagnaia has been lightning quick all season.
His main hold-up has been crashing. He has had three crashes in his last nine races. Bagnaia needs to focus on having a good qualifying and then getting off to a good clean start. If Bagnaia can get out to the lead early, there’s a good chance he can hold it and win this race in Spain.
Quartararo Impressive as Ever
Reigning MotoGP champion Fabio Quartararo has been having a spectacular season and sits in first by 30 points in the championship. In his last 10 races, he has three wins, three-second place finishes, a fourth, a fifth, an eighth and a DNF. He is consistent, fast and doesn’t crash very often. Quartararo has not won a race in over a month, which is likely why his MotoGP betting odds to win the championship have dipped.
Despite not winning a race in a month, Quartararo has been impressive and skillful in his drives. He’s looking to bounce back from only one podium in his last three races and will definitely be looking to push hard and win this race.
MotoGP Results and Statistics
Bagnaia has the most race wins with six. Quartararo is next with three wins. Bagnaia has the second most DNF’s of the top 10 riders with four, while two other drivers have five DNF’s. This weekend will most likely be decided by who can take the pole position and avoid long-lap penalties.

MotoGP Aragon Grand Prix Race Prediction
I am confident in Quartararo. He’s been consistent, dominant and fast over the past two seasons, and there is no reason to believe he’ll slow down now. Bagnaia has been incredible with wins in four straight races, but I know that Quartararo has the abilities and the will to win. Quartararo will have a great race this weekend and extend his lead over the rest of the field.
Quartararo is currently the favorite to win, according to Las Vegas MotoGP odds. Bagnaia and Espargaro will be nipping at his heels, but I believe Quartararo will have a phenomenal race in search of his first win in over a month and is the pick to win.
