After a week away, the NASCAR Cup Series returns at Talladega Superspeedway on Sunday, one of the best tracks for NASCAR betting, due to its unpredictable nature thanks to the draft and crashes.

Ryan Blaney, Joey Logano and Brad Keselowski are the three co-favorites to win at +1000 NASCAR odds. Let’s sift through the impending chaos for Sunday’s race with my best NASCAR prop bets for the week.
3 Picks for the Jack Link’s 500
1. Bet Keselowski (+1000) Over Logano, Blaney
Talladega is a great place for a driver to steal a win and be in contention for the NASCAR Cup Series Championship. In the last nine races, we have seen nine different winners, per NASCAR betting trends. Might we see a 10th?
Of the three favorites, Logano is not among that group. But he has found trouble at superspeedways, finishing 30th or worse in the last five races. Blaney has also struggled. Before his seventh-place finish at the Daytona 500, he went four races without a top-10.
Perhaps the biggest storyline in the NASCAR news is Kyle Busch’s winless streak. He has shown decent speed but does not contend for wins on a consistent basis. His odds to win are +1200.
But I will go with the struggling Keselowski, who has a series-leading six wins in Alabama and has been the runner-up for the last two races, per NASCAR stats. RFK Racing needs a boost and I think Keselowski will be the bride rather than the bridesmaid when the checkered flag waves.
Bet this pick: Brad Keselowski +1000 to win the Jack Link’s 500
2. Stenhouse (+2500) Offers Longshot Value
With the aforementioned unpredictability, this is a great race to make a low-stakes longshot among your NASCAR picks. Last year, longshots Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and Harrison Burton both won on superspeedways.
I typically only pick one winner but I am hungry to find the next surprise winner. I will cop out and turn to Stenhouse, who has shown decent speed for the newly re-branded HYAK Motorsports. He has three superspeedway wins and should he avoid the wrecks (or not cause one), he could be in the mix at the end.
Bet this pick: Ricky Stenhouse Jr. +2500 to win the Jack Link’s 500
3. Nemechek, Alfredo Headline Top-10s Props
Value is at its best on superspeedways as all but nine drivers currently have even or plus-odds. I am digging deep as John Hunter Nemchek is part of my NASCAR predictions. He finished fifth in the Daytona 500 and has three other top-10s in nine superspeedways starts, with two 11th-places to boot.
Last year at Talladega, I nailed my pick on Parker Retzlaff, with the longest odds in the field, to score a top-10 for Beard Motorsports. This week, it’s Anthony Alfredo behind the wheel. The Beard team has a knack for sneaky top-10s on superspeedways, so I am backing “Fast Pasta” to continue this trend with +525 odds at the BetUS Sportsbook, fourth-lowest in the field.
Bet these Top-10 Picks: John Hunter Nemechek +375; Anthony Alfredo +525
