NASCAR Celebrates Fourth of July Weekend
NASCAR will celebrate the Fourth of July weekend with its second race at world-renowned Road America, which is set to host the 2022 Kwik Trip 250 race on Sunday, July 3.
It will mark the third road race of the season and the 18th event of the year, featuring 37 drivers and action-hungry bettors who will seek betting opportunities on online gambling sites.

Let’s check the latest news, stats, reports, and NASCAR odds for Kwik Trip 250. We’ve plenty of NASCAR predictions for you to consider.
Elliott Looking To Repeat
Chase Elliott travels to Road America as one of the favorites to win the 2022 Kwik Trip, and that’s hardly shocking. Anyone who has been betting on NASCAR knows that Elliott is always a threat to win the next race, and that is especially true ahead of this event.
Elliott is the current 2022 NASCAR Cup Series leader, with 586 points, 30 above Ross Chastain. Moreover, Elliott has already won two races this season, which is not particularly great, but he also won last weekend.
“I’m so proud of our team,” said Elliott.
“We had a setback about halfway, but we were able to get the NAPA Chevy dialed back in and get back in the mix. It was a long day, a fun day. I’m so proud of our team. We’ve had a pretty rough month, month and a half. It’s just nice to get back going in the right direction.”
His victory in Nashville was very important, mainly because Elliott has managed just one top-10 in the previous four races (8th in Sonoma). And yet, despite his dry streak, Elliott showed that he still “has it,” once again proving that he is not to be overlooked in the title race.
But besides his strong form, we must also acknowledge that Elliott is one of the best road course drivers in the Cup Series and has won this race last year.
Bell and Busch in the Mix
Although past results on the track don’t guarantee success, it’s fair to look at the drivers who had done well in the Kwik Trip 250 before as potential winners. Therefore, we have to talk about Christopher Bell and Kyle Busch.
Bell enters the 18th race of the 2022 season as the no.8 on the driver’s standings and without a single W to his name. However, like Eliott, he is known to do well on road courses, and we don’t have to look far to confirm that.
Not only has Bell finished second here 12 months ago, but he also drove well at COTA, where he placed third. Admittedly, Bell has only managed 27th in Sonoma, but that result is hardly indicative of his ability on road courses.
Another driver who checks the mark of a potential 2022 Kwik Trip 250 is Kyle Busch. The 37-year-old currently occupies the no.4 spot in the standings with one victory (Bristol) to his name, which isn’t spectacular, but there’s more to Busch than his current numbers might suggest.
He is one of the top road course drivers in the field, which he has proven time and time again, including in 2021, when he placed third at Road America, was fifth at Sonoma, and 10th at COTA. This year, his road performances weren’t that great, seeing how he has only managed 28th at COTA and was 30th in Sonoma.

Kwik Trip 250 Prediction
Even though Elliott’s success last weekend doesn’t guarantee that he will be as efficient on Road America, it’s tough to find a reason not to bet on him to win the 2022 Kwik Trip 250. NASCAR odds for this weekend show him as one of the top dogs, so betting on him won’t make you rich; however, that doesn’t take away from the fact that he is the most likely driver to win.
Elliott is exceptional in road races and has won this race in 2021. Moreover, he has seemingly found his form, and if he can keep his wheels spinning, Elliott will increase the gap between himself and the rest of the field in no time.
We believe that Kyle Busch and Christopher Bell are slightly underrated and could cause Elliott problems, but they’ve yet to show anything to make us believe they can actually beat Elliott on his favorite track.
