NASCAR Cup: Federated Auto Parts 400 Preview, Odds, Picks & Predictions
Joe Gibbs Racing the Team to Beat at Richmond
Seems to be Hamlin, Kyle Busch, or Truex, Jr. Weekend
The NASCAR Cup series heads to Richmond for the Federated Auto Parts 400. The big question heading into this weekend is not what team will win, but it seems to be what member of Joe Gibbs Racing is going to capture the checkered flag?
With three races to go until the Cup playoffs other drivers are hungry, so can we see somebody from the middle of the pack step up and get the upset?
Let’s check the latest NASCAR news, stats, reports and NASCAR odds for the NASCAR Cup. We’ve plenty of NASCAR picks and predictions for you to consider.
As well explore a variety of other Nascar odds here to win!
Truex, Jr. and Hamlin the Co-Favorites
Oddsmakers are expecting similar results as the Spring race at Richmond based on this weekend’s NASCAR online sports betting odds. Denny Hamlin captured the win at the Toyota Owners 400 in April and he’s a +650 favorite to pick up the victory at the Federated Auto Parts 400.
Hamlin has 10 finishes inside the top six in his last 12 starts at Richmond. In his last six races at Richmond, Hamlin has that win in the Spring and then four other top five’s.
The No, 11 is comfortable here, and he’s experienced having logged 31 races at Richmond. Only Kevin Harvick, Kurt Busch, and Martin Truex, Jr. have more.
Speaking of Truex, he finished fourth at the Spring race in Richmond and is a +650 co-favorite with Hamlin for Federated Auto Parts 400 betting. The #19 has captured the checkered flag in three of his last six starts at Richmond and has an average finish of 2.3 over that span.
Can Anybody Step Up to Beat Joe Gibbs Racing?
With Kyle Busch at +650 and Christopher Bell at +700 in Federated Auto Parts 400 betting, we have to go to Chase Elliott at +1000 to find the highest NASCAR odds this week for a non-Joe Gibbs Racing driver. Elliott, driving for Hendricks Motorsports, is the NASCAR points leader and has four wins this season.
Ryan Blaney is +1200, which could provide some NASCAR betting value considering he is second behind Elliott in the standings despite not having a win this season besides the All-Star race.
Aside from Hamlin and Truex, Jr, Brad Keselowski (+5000) and Alex Bowman (+2500) are the only other drivers in this field to capture a win in the last six NASCAR races at Richmond.

NASCAR Federated Auto Parts 400 Prediction
It’s hard to go with anybody but a Joe Gibbs Racing driver in Sunday’s Federated Auto Parts 400 betting. Hamlin is coming off a third-place finish in Michigan last weekend while Truex, Jr. has been in the top seven in three of his last four starts.
Kyle Busch has been struggling with a 36th place finish in two of his last three races, but Bell had two top 5s in July including a win at New Hampshire.
This race really looks like Truex Jr.’s or Hamlin’s to win as they’ve won four of the last six at Richmond. As boring as it is, the favorites are the way to go this weekend. If you are going to bet online, take Marting Truex Jr. to win!
