Playoffs Shaking Up
Berry Wins in Las Vegas
We’ve got some swapping at the top of the Xfinity playoff standings, with Josh Berry taking home the checkered flag last week in the Alsco Uniforms 302 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Berry picked up the win at +1000 odds, the fifth highest in the field.
With the victory, Berry jumped from fourth to the top of the playoff standings while clinching a berth in the Championship race in Phoenix in early November. Berry is up to +800 for NASCAR odds this week at Homestead in the Contender Boats 300.

Let’s check the latest NASCAR odds, stats, injury reports, and NASCAR lines for NASCAR Xfinity Contender Boats 300. We’ve plenty of NASCAR betting odds for you to consider.
Does Gragson Get This One?
Berry’s win last week wasn’t a complete shock, whie his odds were fairly high, he was a top-four driver in the standings. It seemed Noah Gragson was going to return to the winner’s circle, though, listed as the +260 favorite while the Las Vegas native was trying to pick up his first career win at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
It looked like Gragson was indeed headed for the win, leading a race-high 87 laps before finishing in second to Berry. Gragson has lower odds this week when betting online for the Contender Boats 300, as he’s down to +190.
Gragson should be headed to the Championship race on points as he’s currently in second, but he’s gone three races without a victory, which seems like an eternity after his four-event win streak last month.
Some Drivers Running Out of Time
There’s this weekend in Homestead-Miami and next Saturday in Martinsville remaining prior to the Championship race in Phoenix on November 5. With Gragson likely in on points, that leaves two Championship spots up for grabs.
A.J. Allmendinger has two wins this postseason, but his 22nd-place finish at Las Vegas leaves him with some work to do to qualify for Phoenix. Allmendinger has dropped to sixth in the standings, needing to make up 16 points on Justin Allgaier. Allmendinger has some value at +1200 due to his situation, and he did lead 45 laps at last year’s Xfinity race at Homestead before finishing 14th.
Allmendinger sits in sixth, and ahead of him in the standings is Austin Hill, who is listed at +1600 in Contender Boats 300 betting. Hill finished sixth in Las Vegas and had a couple of top-three finishes last month at Bristol and Texas.
The drivers who essentially need a win to make it to the Championship race are Sam Mayer and Brandon Jones. Jones (+1600) could be worth a play, considering he finished second on this track last season. Mayer was seventh at Las Vegas and also finished second at Talladega.

NASCAR Xfinity Contender Boats 300 Prediction
One thing about the Xfinity Series recently is that it’s been quite common to go back-to-back. Gragson won four straight races, and then Allmendinger took home consecutive checkered flags. That gives Berry some value in sport betting after he picked up the victory in Las Vegas.
The play here is on Hill, though. He has solid odds at +1600 and needs a strong showing, currently sitting in fifth in the playoff standings.
