The New Holland 250 will be held for the 30th time and is the 21st race of the 2022 NASCAR Xfinity Series. The 125-lap race is set to take place on Saturday at the Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn, Mich.
Let’s check the latest news, stats, reports and NASCAR odds for New Holland 250. We’ve plenty of predictions for you to consider.
Allmendinger Looks to Rebound
AJ Allmendinger won the Xfinity Series race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway last weekend and this race last year. However, despite all of his experience, he sometimes pushes himself too far.
Race fans saw that in last Sunday’s Verizon 200 at the Brickyard. Allmendinger was in a good spot until he began to experience health issues. Eventually, just after the race, he almost collapsed. He was later diagnosed with heat exhaustion.
Allmendinger is back on the track for the New Holland 250, although the Nascar betting lines aren’t giving him a lot of support. He’s going to be better prepared and out for revenge. He already has 12 consecutive top-10 finishes this year, including five in the last eight races. NASCAR fans can expect the points leader to give everything he has this weekend.
Gibbs Looking for First Win
It should come as no surprise that Ty Gibbs is among the favorites. The grandson of Joe Gibbs has been prepared for this trip ever since he was in diapers. Sometimes a driver with raw, intrinsic ability jumps to the top of the scoreboard fast. In this case, it’s the younger Gibbs.
There is a valid explanation for why he has not competed in the entire Xfinity season: He was not old enough when Daytona came around. Bettors who are used to wagering on NFL predictions may find that betting on NASCAR is a refreshing and exciting change of pace.
And therein lies the problem. Gibbs’ inconsistency might lead to doubt, and it can cause him to make mistakes once in a while. If it occurs at the wrong moment, it will cost him a chance at winning. However, with his talent and skill, and Chase Elliott not racing, it is difficult to see anyone else winning.
New Holland 250 Drivers to Beat
Gibbs is the favorite for this race due to the strength shown by his team and himself. Even though it is tough to argue against him, if anyone is going to come up with a surprise win against him, it’s Allmendinger. Nevertheless, the New Holland 250 is Gibbs’ to lose.

New Holland 250 Prediction
Gibbs is the heavy favorite to win on Saturday, so betting on him will likely get you a winning wager. Although Allmendinger is a fantastic driver with a superb record, when betting on NASCAR, his recent performances are enough to give bettors a reason to pause.
Still, Allmendinger has a 17-point lead in the standings over oddsboard favorite Justin Allgaier (+350). He also has 30 points more than Gibbs. As such, he cannot be dismissed easily. If he has regained his health, expect a tight race. Still, Gibbs is creeping up and, barring any errors, has a good shot at taking the win.
