Straight Talk Wireless 400 Picks and Predictions: Reddick is Best Bet March 23

The NASCAR Cup Series heads back to the East Coast for the Straight Talk Wireless 400 at the Homestead-Miami Speedway on Sunday. Yet to win this season, Kyle Larson is the NASCAR betting odds favorite to win at +350.

Might Tyler Reddick take him down? Or yet another win for Christopher Bell? Let’s break it down with our NASCAR best bets for the week.

Top 3 Picks Straight Talk Wireless 400

1. Bet Tyler Reddick to Win

It has been an inconsistent start to 2025 for Kyle Larson. He had two third-place finishes, but those are his only two top-10s. I am surprised the NASCAR oddsmakers have him favored so highly. While he does have a win at Homestead in 2022, he only has two top-10s in his last six starts. He will not be headlining our NASCAR picks today.

I am surprised Tyler Reddick is not the favorite as Homestead is his bread and butter kind of track. Reddick is best when he can run against the wall and he showed that with a thrilling last-lap winning pass last season. He has four top-fives in four career starts. He is by far our pick at +400 odds.

Bet this pick: Tyler Reddick +400 to win the Straight Talk Wireless 400

2. Bet on Willian Byron Prop

While much of the focus is on the likes of Larson and Bell, William Byron is doing what he does best: running consistently up front. He has been fantastic this year. He clinched his playoff spot by winning the Daytona 500 and has three other top-fives in four races, per NASCAR betting trends.

Byron is solid at Homestead, winning back in 2021, and has four top-10s in the last five races. You could include another top-five for Byron in your NASCAR predictions, but I will go with the greater value in him beating his teammate Larson and finishing as the highest-finishing Chevrolet driver.

Bet this pick: William Byron Top Chevrolet Driver +275

3. Bowman, Allmendinger Among Top-10 Values

We nailed our Daniel Suarez top-10 picklast week, so let’s try to find some other great values. Another driver with a great run last week was AJ Allmendinger, finishing eighth after running in the top-10 all day.

Known for his road course prowess, the Dinger has a great track record in south Florida. In his last three seasons after returning to the Cup Series, he has finished in the top-10 each time. I am all in on his +225 NASCAR odds to continue the trend.

For the first time in 2025, I’m back in on my favorite top-10 pick, Alex Bowman. His numbers aren’t outstanding at Homestead, but he does have three top-10s in his last five starts. I am more so looking at his 2025 results. He quietly has four top-10s through five races, and with Hendrick Motorsports’ speed, there’s no reason he can’t replicate that success and cash this NASCAR prop bet.

Bet these top-10 picks: AJ Allmendinger +225; Alex Bowman +125
