Fresh off a dominant 4-1 triumph over the Edmonton Oilers, the Winnipeg Jets look to duplicate that magic this Friday night. Despite claiming Game 1, the Jets enter as underdogs, creating a ton of value for bettors willing to take them straight up. Couple that with the Boston Red Sox’ moneyline, and you have an eye-catching multi-sport parlay Friday.

The Boston Red Sox look to mount a three-game winning streak in Friday’s matchup against the Philadelphia Phillies. The Bosox are coming off an 8-7 win over the Blue Jays. Philadelphia, on the other hand, is coming off two consecutive losses to the Miami Marlins and will be looking to avoid dipping below .500. This will be the first time this season the Red Sox and Phillies have crossed paths.
Boston will be starting LHP Martin Perez. who heads to the mound with a 1-2 record as well as a 3.40 ERA and a 1.36 WHIP through 39 innings. Opposing him is Aaron Nola, RHP who enters with a 3-3 record, a 3.64 ERA and a 1.09 WHIP through 54 innings. Numbers-wise these two are evenly matched but it’s clear Nola has reps under his belt this season. Fortunately for Perez, the Red Sox come in with the more threatening bats.
The Red Sox rank second in runs, second in team batting average, fourth in on-base percentage and have the best slugging percentage in the MLB. For comparison, the Phillies rank 19th in runs, 12th in batting average, 14th in on-base percentage, and 20th in slugging. Clearly, Philadelphia can’t measure up.
Boston’s lineup will surely win this contest as the Red Sox pick up their third consecutive win. Their moneyline odds make them one of Friday’s top MLB betting predictions.
MLB Pick: Red Sox 7, Phillies 3

The NHL’s postseason action continues with an enticing Winnipeg Jets-Edmonton Oilers contest. The Oilers came up short in Game 1, suffering a 4-1 loss at home. Now they look to avoid a dreaded 0-2 start to the series and are favored to do so. Apparently, the odds are banking on Connor Hellebuyck, who made 32 saves for Winnipeg in Game 1, to have poorer performance in Game 2.
But Hellebuyck doesn’t need to have a breathtaking performance for Winnipeg to come out on top. As long as he avoids losing the game for Winnipeg, the Jets will have a legitimate shot of starting this series off 2-0. Adding them to this multi-sport parlay will help boost the odds to a top-tier payout.
