Nuggets-Blazers Going Over Game 3, Angels Over Oakland

Multi-Sport Betting Parlay for Thursday

Showtime Set to take Care of Athletics

The NBA playoffs continue this Thursday with an exciting Denver Nuggets vs Portland Trail Blazers Game 3 matchup. So far, Games 1 and 2 have been offensively charged blowouts with the Nuggets and Trail Blazers trading wins. While it’s not clear who will be taking Game 3, it’s beyond doubt that the total will be going over. Find out how to couple this NBA playoff prediction into a two-team parlay this Thursday.

Where: Moda Center, Portland, Oregon

NBA Totals Odds: 227½

Behind Nikola Jokic’s 38-point performance, the Denver Nuggets were able to bounce back from their humiliating Game 1 defeat at the hands of the Portland Trail Blazers. Although Damian Lillard put up 42 for Portland, the Trail Blazers couldn’t avoid the blowout in Game 2. Now headed into Game 3, only one thing is for certain. The total will be going over this Thursday.

Game 1 of this First Round series saw the total hit 232 and Game 2 went up to 237, so Game 3 is on track to cover that 227½ handily. Not to mention that the Nuggets’ last game of the regular season, a whopper that hit a total of 248, was against the Trail Blazers as well.

Naturally, both team’s recent trends make it clear that 227½ is well within reach. The total has gone over in 5 of Portland’s last 7 against Denver, over in 4 of Portland’s last 6 games overall, and over in 6 of the Trail Blazer’s last 8 games when playing the Nuggets at home. With so much playing time against one another in such a short time span, these teams are starting to get to know each other really well. While it’s not clear who will be taking Game 3, you can definitely bank on the total going over.

NBA Pick: Nuggets 130, Trail Blazers 116

Los Angeles Angels vs Oakland Athletics – Thursday

When: 9:40 p.m. ET

Where: Oakland Coliseum, Oakland, California

MLB Odds: Los Angeles Angels +127 || Oakland Athletics -142

The Los Angeles Angels are coming off a two-game sweep against the Texas Rangers. They now look to do the same to the Oakland Athletics, albeit in a four-game series. However, the Angels recently faced Oakland in a three-game series and lost two out of three. So what will be the difference this MLB betting Thursday? Simply put, Shohei Ohtani.

The RHP will get the start for the Angels this Thursday and looks to build on his 1-0 record, 2.37 ERA, and 1.25 WHIP. Showtime will be going up against RHP Chris Bassitt, who enters with a 4-2 record, a 3.69 ERA, and a 1.10 WHIP. It’s clear that Ohtani, and by extension the Angels, have the edge Thursday. Look for Los Angeles to build on their current three-game win streak as Ohtani builds on his already growing fan base. Since the Angels are pegged as underdogs on the money line, taking them straight up on a two-team parlay is quite appealing this Thursday.

MLB Pick: Angels 5, Athletics 2

Parlay: Nuggets/Trail Blazers Over 227½ and Los Angeles Angels +135 at +350
