Milwaukee 9-1 at Home
The Chicago Bulls had lost four straight games and six out of their last seven before finally getting a win against the Eastern Conference-leading Boston Celtics on Monday night. Still, this is a team that has lost eight out of their last 12 and has been brutal to those who have used them in their NBA picks.
Next up, the Bulls will face the team many consider the best in the Eastern Conference. The Milwaukee Bucks have cooled off after their nine-game winning streak, dropping four of their last seven.
They’re 9-1 at home just a win behind the Celtics for the best record in basketball. Can they take care of business and cover the NBA betting odds here or will the Bulls surprise?
Bulls Underperforming Offensively
It’s becoming more and more obvious that the Bulls really miss Lonzo Ball – at both ends of the court. The offense just isn’t being run as efficiently as it used to be with Ball acting as the primary facilitator.
DeMar DeRozan is doing everything he can to keep them afloat, though. He’s averaging 25.4 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 4.2 assists. Zach LaVine is right behind him as a scorer as well, averaging 20.8 points a night.
However, LaVine’s production has fallen off quite a bit. He’s coming off a four-point outing on Friday where he was benched. It’s stunning considering he was an All-Star last season.
LaVine is contributing nearly four points less than a season ago and nearly seven points less than two seasons ago. His field goal percentage is way down, nearly six percent off his averages from last season.
The Bulls are just 7-10 and while injuries are a factor, those who bet online know that this team needs more from LaVine. When he and DeRozan are at All-Star levels, this is a playoff team. Right now, they’re not.
Giannis Antetokounmpo has again been the difference maker for the Milwaukee Bucks. He’s currently averaging 30.1 points, 11.6 rebounds, 5.4 assists, 1.1 steals, and 1.1 blocks.
As good as he’s been, though, the offense has faded a little bit of late. While the Bucks average 111.4 points, they are down to just 106.6 over their last five contests. That’s a big reason why they’ve slumped.
Jrue Holiday averages 18.6 points and 7.4 assists while Brook Lopez puts up 16.2 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 2.8 blocks a night. However, without the injured Khris Middleton, the team doesn’t always get the buckets they need.

Bulls vs Bucks Picks & Prediction
The Bucks have been the far better team and Antetokounmpo has been the best player in the league right now statistically. Meanwhile, the Bulls lack a primary facilitator without Ball and have mostly been miserable over the last few weeks.
Both offenses are laboring a little bit, so the under might be the best choice in the sportsbook. We should see a low-scoring affair.
