Playoff Hopefuls Heading in Opposite Directions
The Utah Jazz host the Chicago Bulls on Monday in the hopes of rediscovering their shooting touch from earlier in the season. The new-look and frankly less talented, Jazz started the season with a Northwest Division-leading 10-3 record. But, since then, Utah is 2-7 straight up and has fallen into second place in the division.
The Bulls remain below .500 but beat both the Milwaukee Bucks and Boston Celtics last week as they hope to continue building momentum heading into December.
Let’s check the latest NBA picks, stats, injury reports, and NBA predictions for Bulls vs Jazz. We’ve plenty of NBA expert picks for you to consider.
Bulls Struggling on Road
The Chicago Bulls are beginning to get healthy, but they are still plagued by poor play on the road. With a 33.3% win streak away from home, it’s easy to see why Chicago does not have a winning record.
In their previous four road games, the Bulls are an uninspiring 1-3 against the spread. In fact, the last time they covered a spread on the road was Nov. 6 at Toronto.
More troubling ATS trends related to the Bulls include an 0-5 ATS record against the Western Conference and 4-6 coming off a loss.
On a positive note, after starting the season off with a roster full of injured players, Lonzo Ball remains the only starter out of the lineup. With DeMar DeRozan, Zach LaVine and Nikola Vucevic sharing the court on a nightly basis, the Bulls will crawl above .500 sooner or later.

Jazz’s Hot Start is Fading
Most teams don’t lose their two best players in the offseason and then start the season 10-3 as the Utah Jazz did. The wait began for them to come back to earth and their descent is well underway.
Utah is on a four-game losing streak and a loser of seven of their last nine games outright. They did beat the Phoenix Suns two weeks ago, but other than that there are no bright spots for Utah since early November.
Things are going wrong for Jazz bettors too with a recent ATS record of 3-6 dating back to Nov. 12. As favorites, the Jazz is 1-5 against the spread and have covered just once against Eastern Conference opponents.
Injury woes may be a factor with Mike Conley and Leandro Bolmaro out over the weekend. Their current status is unknown. Meanwhile, stud forward Lauri Markkanen is listed as day-to-day and is questionable for Monday with a knee issue. Rudy Gay remains out for the near future as well.
