Eastern Powerhouses Collide

Division Foes Meet

The Cavaliers are 19-5 at home during the 2022-23 season. They have proven to be a tough out on their home floor. But this will be the second end of a back-to-back in what might be their most disappointing loss of the past several seasons.

As for Milwaukee, they will remain without Khris Middleton, who has barely been on the floor since the start of last year’s postseason. But, still. There are bragging rights. These are the top two teams in the division.

There is still plenty to watch for with Darius Garland and Jrue Holiday out there. NBA Vegas odds project a close game.

Let’s check the latest NBA news, stats, injury report and NBA lines for Bucks vs Cavaliers. We’ve got plenty of NBA picks for you to consider.

Milwaukee Looking To Buck The Trend

Coming into Saturday’s action, the Bucks have had to play their past four with Giannis Antetokounmpo on the sideline. He has averaged 31-12-5 and is somebody no team is able to replace. With him out, they have managed to go 2-2. They are lucky to win their past two in his absence.

They have been led by the impressive play of Brook Lopez, one of the top three candidates in Defensive Player of the Year voting. He has come a long way from the guy he was in his early Nets days to becoming the most unlikely 3-and-D player in perhaps the history of the NBA.

As Khris Middleton remains out of the lineup, questions about his future may begin. He has logged only seven games, injured to start the sseason and rarely able to stay on the floor after that. They’re thankful to have Bobby Portis and Joe Ingles. The team, per NBA Vegas odds, is a slight underdog, though.

Cleveland is Playing With Cavalier Attitude

Injuries or not, the Cavaliers could have come into this game with a 28-19 record. But they lost a heartbreaker to the Grizzlies on Wednesday and a disappointing one to the Warriors on Friday. Golden State was down four starters.

Donovan Mitchell was injured in the game with the Pelicans on Monday and has missed two subsequent games. He and Dean Wade remain out of the lineup, while Dylan Windler deals with significant injuries for the fourth year in a row. They also didn’t have Ricky Rubio on the court Friday, a player that could have helped them to turn the tide.

With Mitchell making a possible return, perhaps the team may look a little less lackadaisical. There is a lot missing from Cavsland, most importantly, the team spirit. It’s been lacking. Maybe they can find that energy and avoid a three-game skid. It’s not a great time for it.

NBA Vegas odds still favor them, though.

Bucks vs Cavaliers Head-to-Head

This will be the fourth and final regular season battle between the Bucks and Cavs. They got together three times between mid-November and late December. Milwaukee came away with a 113-98 win at home on November 16.

Nine short days later, they took out the Cavs 117-102 in Milwaukee once again on November 25. And in the third meeting, Cleveland got the victory, 114-106, on their home court.

Cleveland won the season series last season for the first time since the 2017-18 season. They’ll look to even it out in this one.

Bucks vs Cavaliers Betting Lines

Bucks vs Cavaliers Picks & Prediction

The spread for the contest is relatively close. Cleveland is a 1.5-point favorite in Vegas. And this is wise. They have struggled in the last two games to close out, but Darius Garland has been on another level. Should Mitchell return on the second end of a back-to-back, the star guards will be present.

Jrue Holiday and Co. will have their hands full. Cleveland has more to lose. They can’t breathe until they get that next win. It’ll happen here.

The Cavs are listed at –125 in our Vegas Lines. This means that if you wager $100 on the Cavs, you have a chance to win $80. The Bucks are +105, offering a chance to win $105.

The implied probability attached to the betting lines gives the Cavaliers a 55.56% chance to win, with the Bucks at 48.78%.
