The Milwaukee Bucks and Minnesota Timberwolves are two very different teams with nearly identical results in the last 10 games.
Both are on cold snaps and look to rebound on Friday in primetime at the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee. Injuries will play a large part in who wins or loses this matchup.
Let’s check the latest NBA odds, stats, injury report and NBA lines for Timberwolves vs Bucks. We’ve plenty of NBA betting odds for you to consider.
T-Wolves 3-7 in Last 10
The Timberwolves are feeling the effects of Karl-Anthony Towns’ absence with a calf injury. The superstar isn’t expected back for another week after getting hurt on Nov. 29. The Timberwolves were 11-11 at that point.
But, since losing Towns, the Timberwolves have dipped below .500 at 16-19 heading into Friday’s clash with the Central Division leaders.
Unlike the Bucks, the Timberwolves have been a terrible team to bet on all season, with or without Towns. They have the 4th fourth-worst return on investment (ROI) against the spread at -23.61% with a loss of -9.10 units.
Towns isn’t the Timberwolves’ only injury, mind you. Kyle Anderson is highly questionable for Friday while Taurean Prince and Jordan McLaughlin will miss this game along with Towns.
Bucks’ Cold Winter Continues
Even though the NBA plays exclusively indoors, the Bucks have been ice-cold since the start of December. At least for a team with championship hopes. Milwaukee has the same 3-7 overall record in its last 10 games as the Timberwolves.
From a betting perspective, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Co. aren’t faring much better, with an 0-4 ATS record in their last four games. Milwaukee hasn’t covered a game at home in almost two weeks.
Some of the Wolves’ issues come down to untimely injuries, however. Those issues will extend into this primetime matchup, with forward Khris Middleton and guard Jrue Holiday doubtful. Holiday leads the team in assists and steals and is a crucial role player in this rotation while Middleton is a contributor across the board.
The Bucks will still have the best player on the court in Antetokounmpo, but the Timberwolves have enough firepower to keep things interesting in Milwaukee.

Timberwolves vs Bucks Picks & Prediction
Both teams are banged up a bit at critical positions and suffering because of it. With the T-Wolves missing more pieces and having less to work with at the start, we like the Bucks to win and cover this game on their home court.
The trends, and injury report, suggest a bet on the under is a smart pick as well. Either way, the value is the same. Together they make a tidy same-game parlay.
The Milwaukee Bucks are listed at -260 in our Vegas NBA lines. This means that if you wager $100 on Milwaukee, you have a chance to win $38. The Minnesota Timberwolves are +210, offering a chance to win $210 on a $100 wager.
The implied probability attached to the betting lines gives Bucks a 72.22% chance to win, with Timberwolves at 32.26%.

Timberwolves vs Bucks Game Summary
Bucks vs Timberwolves Previous Game (Nov. 04, 2022)
The Milwaukee Bucks are one win away from a franchise-best start, winning the first seven games. It won’t be an easy game against a talented Minnesota Timberwolves team, who are still trying to figure out a style of play that suits them after a big off-season trade for Rudy Gobert.
What has helped the Bucks get off to this good start is they have played their last six games at home, just beating the Detroit Pistons 116-91. The Timberwolves lost 116-107 to the Phoenix Suns in a game that seemed close but wasn’t really, as the starting lineup was outplayed.
Even with this being the Bucks’ second game on the road this season, the Timberwolves are still trying to figure themselves out. The on-court product has been inconsistent, despite some flashes of what it could be, which makes sense because the team is still adjusting. The post-game comments are weird and could be more telling of what is to come for a young team.
