Kings and Warriors Both Sub-.500 Early
The Golden St. Warriors’ hellish road trip is over, with Steph Curry and Co. home to face the Pacific Division-rival Sacramento Kings. An abysmal 3-7 start to the Warriors’ season included going 0-fer in their recent five-game trip. They’re the first NBA champs in history to start the season 0-6 on the road.
Perhaps “struggling” is too harsh a word in Sacramento, as the Kings are 3-1 after an 0-4 start.
Sacramento is making its second visit to San Francisco, having lost, 130-125, in its third game of the season
Kings Not Pushovers
Things are getting better with the Sacramento Kings, especially after a 126-123 overtime win at the Orlando Magic Saturday evening. It was their third win in four games, second in three on a concluding four-game trip.
Despite their recent mini-surge, the Kings aren’t exactly killing it on the court. Sacramento surrenders 116.9 points per game, 25th in the league. They won’t get any sympathy out of the Warriors, sitting dead-last (121.4 ppg) in that category.
De’Aaron Fox (26.3 ppg) leads nine Kings averaging in double figures this season.
They Aren’t Road Warriors
While losing five games in a row is never good, when you’re the reigning champs, it’s time to ask some questions. Having lost those five consecutive roadies-at Charlotte, Detroit, Miami, Orlando and New Orleans-coach Steve Kerr said changes to the rotation are coming, adding any adjustments won’t fix their problems overnight.
At 3-7 against the spread, Golden St remains one of the worst teams on which to bet.
Steph Curry and his 31 points per game (nearly 35 minutes) show no signs of slowing down any time soon.

Kings vs Warriors Prediction
Taking the Sacramento Kings on the road over the reigning NBA champion is a risky proposition. However, when we look at the big picture, there’s a lot to dislike about this Warrior team. They can’t score, cover ATS or have their stars not punch one another in the face.
They haven’t covered a spread this high all season. We’re not convinced that simply playing at home changes that.
