Eastern Conference Foes Collide

Bulls Seeking Redemption

It was the Raptors who took first blood in the two-game series, but the Chicago Bulls return home with revenge on their minds.

The Toronto Raptors are without Pascal Siakam, so we’re not surprised to see the Bulls favored to win with NBA betting markets.

Let’s check the latest NBA odds, stats, injury reports, and NBA lines for Raptors vs Bulls. We’ve plenty of NBA betting odds for you to consider.

How do the Raptors Cope?

Beating the Bulls without Siakam was a top effort, but the Toronto Raptors could struggle to cope without their best scorer in the coming weeks.

Siakam gave the Raptors 24.8 points per game, and although his teammates stepped up in the 113-104 win on Sunday, it’s going to be harder from here on out.

They’re not as good on the road as they are at home, with a 2-3 record. That’s a concern in the second game of a back-to-back, which typically goes the way of the game one loser.

The Raptors have plenty to overcome, but they are tough and that was evident in their 111-110 loss to the Dallas Mavericks last week. They hung in there admirably, which is why the sportsbook can never rule them out.

Fred VanVleet often steps up and he has the respect of his former teammate.

Hell of a player, one of the best point guards in this league,” DeMar DeRozan told ESPN. “I didn’t expect anything less from him. That’s who he is, aggressive, changes the dynamic of the game.”

It followed a devastating 143-100 win over the San Antonio Spurs, so there is electricity with the Raptors at their best and it’s not like the Bulls don’t have injury concerns themselves.

We wouldn’t be quick to rule out the Raptors because of betting markets, which have the Raptors at +4.

Underperforming Bulls Ready to Rebound

Having the likes of Andre Drummond, Lonzo Ball and Coby White on the sidelines is having a big effect on the Bulls, who are 5-6 following the loss to Toronto.

Despite having the likes of DeRozan and Zach LaVine on the court, the Bulls have struggled for consistency and it’s because they don’t have a talented passer at the point guard position.

LaVine has been doing his best to distribute, but it’s not his strength and he’s better off as a pure power scoring threat. However, despite these problems, the Bulls have won some tough games and they are the worthy four-point favorites with Vegas NBA lines.

LaVine missed the first meeting against the Raptors, so they’ll have him back and he should be ready to produce the goods. LaVine is still being nursed back to full health, but we have been impressed with what we have seen.

The Raptors were too good for the Bulls on Sunday, scoring a 113-104 victory. However, the Bulls didn’t have LaVine on the floor.

Raptors vs Bulls Betting Lines

Raptors vs Bulls Prediction

The Bulls should have too much scoring power for the Raptors and we expect them to cover the spread.

Returning home is always ideal and the team coming off a loss in a back-to-back typically plays best.

We are also including the under. We can’t see too much offense being played, which should result in an open contest.
