It will be interesting to see how the Wizards handle these final three games. Against the Bucks, they gave rookie Johnny Davis, who has struggled, his second career start and looked good.
Hawks Must Finish in Top Half of Play-In
With the season nearing its end, it is pretty clear that the Hawks will find themselves fighting for a playoff spot. If they can’t secure the seventh or eighth seed for the Play-In, there is a very small chance they will make it to the playoffs.

If the Hawks were to fall to the ninth or 10th seed, they would have to win back-to-back games, which the team just did for the first time since March 8-10 –against the Wizards– beating the Dallas Mavericks in overtime, then blowing out the Bulls.
This places Atlanta in a difficult position because its defense has been underwhelming recently. The Hawks have the fourth-highest defensive rating since the All-Star break, balanced out by the third-best offensive rating. It has affected the team’s NBA lines, never really being favored by much, going 5-5 against the spread (ATS) over the last 10 games.
