LeBron James Expressed His Frustration After a 41-Point Loss to the Heat

Losing by 41 Points Against the Heat Is Not Something Lebron James Will Ever Be Cool With

Damn LA, What Happened in Miami?

If you think you’re having a bad day, stop for a second, breathe, and thank God or whichever deity you believe in that you are not part of the Los Angeles Lakers today or backed the team’s betting odds against the Miami Heat in last night’s game.

Get this: In a scene that’s only been seen eleven times in over 6,800 games since the team’s formation, the Lakers—yes, LeBron’s, AD’s, and JJ Reddick’s Lakers—were not just beaten but demoralized by over 40 points by the Miami Heat in one of the most lopsided NBA games this season and in recent times.

But before we tear into whatever LA was trying to do last night because that sh*t wasn’t basketball, can we please all take a second and give Heat star Tyler Herro some props?

Dropping nine three-pointers, including seven alone in the third quarter, Herro was Miami’s executive chef in cooking a Lakers team that looked dead upon arrival as soon as they hit the court at Kaseya Center, according to NBA news.

Also, with six players scoring double digits, Miami let the world know that if there’s one thing the Lakers can’t do, it’s play defense.

Now, I may not be the most gifted basketball mind in the world.

No, no, wait, let me correct myself.

My biggest accomplishment is hitting a few shots in a row in the typical basketball arcade game and thinking of myself like MJ after the flu game.

But that was not a good look for the Lakers last night.

LeBron, AD, and JJ All Take Blame

Following the game, Reddick, Davis, and James were the first to face the backlash for last night’s juggernaut debacle, trying to save face and not giving NBA rumors fans anything to bicker about following the obvious faceplant the team had just gone through a few minutes before on the court.

Reddick was first in the firing line, taking his share of ownership in the team’s loss, saying: “There has to be some ownership on the court, and I’ll take all the ownership in the world. This is my team, and I lead it, and I’m embarrassed.

Next up was LeBron, who, given, was able to bounce back from a recent offensive slump he had been going through in the past few games, scoring 29 points on 12-18 shooting, backed up Reddick’s statements and feelings with a simple: “Whatever he said, I agree 100 percent, 1,000 percent.

But the King wasn’t done talking right then and there. Visibly upset by what happened on the court, James said: “I think we squash it, for sure…And just see when you’re individually f–king up and you’re trying to rely on everybody else to cover for you, I think it starts on individuals first. All of us have to take accountability. It’s great to see it on film and address it right there—right then and there. And then go from there.

Last in line, Davis played the mea-culpa game for his latest offensive struggles, saying: “I personally just think it starts with me. If I play better, then guys play better. I definitely take accountability, especially the last couple of games. Just not being there for the team on the offensive end.

LA Needs to Do Better

While I’m sure fans will most likely buy into the speech and pardon requests and maybe even take LA as one of their NBA picks today, we need to call a spade a spade here and hold the team accountable for their latest lackluster doings.

With a 12-10 record right now and enough firepower to continue being a favorite for fans betting on NBA over-under picks daily at BetUS sportsbook, the time to cut the BS and get to playing correctly is here and now, LA. Don’t sleep on it.
