Are you a fan of bad teams? Friday is the night for you as you get to bet for or against several NBA teams that are either tanking or in the midst of a losing streak. The NBA betting lines have two point spreads with a double-digit differential while three more are separated by seven points or greater. We either see plenty of blowouts or some big upsets.
NBA Games For Feb. 11
Oklahoma City Thunder at Philadelphia 76ers
Losers of three straight, the Oklahoma City Thunder are the first team to play the new-look Philadelphia 76ers. While James Harden, Philadelphia’s new high-profile acquisition, won’t play, the Sixers are still favored by a dozen. Philadelphia’s cover rate of 36.8 percent (7-12-0 against the spread (ATS)) is the second-worst for a home favorite while OKC is 17-10 ATS on the road.
Cleveland Cavaliers at Indiana Pacers
The Cleveland Cavaliers, who upgraded significantly at the trade deadline, visit the Indiana Pacers in what is projected to be a comfortable win for the road team. The Cavs are the second-best team to bet online on the spread with a 63.5 percent cover rate. Indiana is 6-5 ATS as a home underdog but is also just 1-4 ATS at home against its division.

Charlotte Hornets at Detroit Pistons
This is a tough one to pick on the sportsbook. We have two teams on six-game losing streaks, although the Charlotte Hornets are seven-point favorites as a road team. Charlotte is 5-1 ATS in their last six road games and is 8-2 ATS against the Detroit Pistons in their last 10 meetings. The Pistons have lost 14 straight against Charlotte.
Denver Nuggets at Boston Celtics
The Boston Celtics may have reinforcements for this game via the trade deadline while the Denver Nuggets were conspicuously inactive. The Celtics have won six straight and boast the NBA’s best defensive rating in 2022. Seven of their line nine games have gone under the total for a reason. But in Denver’s case, four of their last six have gone over.
San Antonio Spurs at Atlanta Hawks
One of the busier teams at Thursday’s trade deadline, the San Antonio Spurs jettisoned several players as they continue to rebuild. Newly minted All-Star Dejounte Murray will lead the team against the Atlanta Hawks as underdogs. San Antonio is 6-15 for 2022 (8-13 ATS). The Hawks are 13-10 ATS as a home favorite.
Minnesota Timberwolves at Chicago Bulls
The Minnesota Timberwolves are slight underdogs in visiting the Chicago Bulls. While Minnesota has won 13 of its last 19 games, it is just 1-4 as an underdog in this span. The Wolves are also just 6-13 as a road underdog but are 10-9 ATS. Chicago has won and covered seven of their nine home games against the West.
Orlando Magic at Utah Jazz
The most lopsided matchup of the evening pits the surging Utah Jazz against the Orlando Magic. Utah has won four straight and has covered three while the Magic are winless in their last five games in Salt Lake City. The under has cashed in four of Utah’s last five home games.
