NBA Preview: Friday, March 4
Weekend Starts With 9 NBA Games
With the exception of a pair of games, the NBA’s offering for this Friday features high-scoring matchups. That’s what’s fun as most of the nine NBA games may cash those ‘over’ tickets on the NBA betting lines.
NBA Games For March 4
Cleveland Cavaliers vs Philadelphia 76ers
Having lost five of their last six, the Cleveland Cavaliers don’t get a break as they visit the Philadelphia 76ers. Cleveland is also 2-6 against the spread (ATS) in its last eight games. Philadelphia, on the other hand, has scored 120+ points in their four-game winning streak so it’s interesting to see this game’s total lined as the lowest for Friday.

Indiana Pacers vs Detroit Pistons
Don’t look now, but the Detroit Pistons have been making folks money on the online sports betting site. The underdogs just upset the Toronto Raptors and have not lost on the point spread in six straight games (5-0-1). They look to keep it going as they are 6-2-1 ATS in their last nine games against the Indiana Pacers.
Atlanta Hawks vs Washington Wizards
The Atlanta Hawks needed a 40-point fourth-quarter explosion to get by the Chicago Bulls. Less than 24 hours after, they are back at it against the Washington Wizards. Atlanta is just 4-7 ATS on the second night of a back-to-back. The Wizards are 6-8 ATS as a home underdog and have not covered in their last five Friday games.

Milwaukee Bucks vs Chicago Bulls
The Milwaukee Bucks visit the Chicago Bulls fresh off their loss against the Hawks. Milwaukee has won two straight but is still just 1-6 ATS in its last seven games. The Bulls, on the other hand, are just 2-9 against the top five teams in the East. Milwaukee has won nine of its last 10 games against Chicago and the under has cashed in seven of these games. That’s worth looking into with this game having the highest total for the night.
Orlando Magic vs Toronto Raptors
The Toronto Raptors are still reeling from losing to their old coach, Dwane Casey, again. They now host the Orlando Magic who they have beaten in 10 straight games and seven straight home games. Orlando did cover the last time they met although Toronto is 13-11 ATS as a home favorite.
Utah Jazz vs New Orleans Pelicans
The New Orleans Pelicans have been on a bit of a roll and have covered nine of its last 13 games. They play host to the Utah Jazz as an underdog. The Jazz are just 12-11 ATS as a visiting favorite, which is actually not bad considering the team has a 45 percent cover rate overall.
Minnesota Timberwolves vs Oklahoma City Thunder
The Minnesota Timberwolves visit the Oklahoma City Thunder as the biggest road favorites. The over may be worth betting online on the total as 78 percent (25-7) of Minnesota’s road games have cashed thanks to their cavalier defense. Oklahoma City’s last six games have also gone over.
Houston Rockets vs Denver Nuggets
Will it be a dozen straight losses for the Houston Rockets? They are once again the biggest underdog as bettors can win $700 for every $100 bet on them on the moneyline. The Denver Nuggets managed a one-point win over Houston the last time they played in the Ball Arena. Alternatively, the total has gone over in five of their last six meetings.
New York Knicks vs Phoenix Suns
The undermanned Phoenix Suns look to extend the New York Knicks’ woes. New York has lost six straight and has won just three games in its last 19 games. Phoenix is only 2-4 ATS in its last six but has covered 8 of its last 10 games against New York. The over has cashed in New York’s last five games.
